Restaurant is located a few kilometers west of Latisana and about 20 kilometers away from Bibione and Lignano. There is a large parking area in front of the house. You can have your seat on the outdoor terrace or indoor. The menu is not typical italian in the eyes of tourists. Inside is an open grill and they serve a few BBQ meals. You willste find also soups, salads, pasta... in the menu, but most comes from the grill. Service is very good, prices in the middle. I can really recommended that restaurant.

Our last night at Lignano, the ghost town while in fall & winter. We decided to go based on being number 1 on TripAdvisor. Place was empty but people started to arrive after us. Someone here mentioned about the extra salad bar (cart) fee so I avoided since I would have probably just picked a piece arugula or similar, not worth it. Also someone mentioned big portions, correct. And this place charges 3 euro cover each person while all other restaurants have been charging 1.2 to 1.5 Regardless, a big observation: our bread/chips basket got refilled but to elegant way like this restaurant portrays. Waiter came with the toasted bread chips from the supermarket and just tossed in front of us the remnants of the bag. Yes all the crumbs.....we were in shock and then laughing. I think there is a problem with ventilation or the grill chimney since I ended up being smoked with the grilled. I came to my hotel smelling like if I was in a camping BBQ. Make sure a real Waiter will serve to super-sized white dishes or you run the risk of having spaghetti accidentally thrown at you, like what happened to our table neighbors being served by the owners wife. Serve one at a time! Specially if they are so big and heavy!The food was amazing though great gnocchi, and the steak.Un cliente, alcune osservazioni.La ringrazio per i quattro pallini attribuitici,tuttavia mi sento di precisare alcune cose:Il carrello, da cui lei dice di aver potuto probabilmente scegliere solo rucola, e' fornito di otto tipi di verdura cruda e di quattro di cotta,come da foto che le ho postato.Inoltre dalla stessa foto si evince che il mini sacchetto di crackers,peraltro non da supermarket,e' sufficiente solo per un paio di refill e quindi non puo' essere mai prossimo alla fine: o pieno o mezzo pieno.Qualche bake-roll rotto c'è purtroppo sempre.Per quanto riguarda gli spaghetti rovesciati sul tavolo affianco,mi permetta di dire che e'un cattivo osservatore in quanto l'incidente e' stato causato da un movimento improvviso della cliente.La porzione integra e'stata divisa tra i due commensali e nel frattempo ne sono state offerte dalla casa ulteriori due,tanto che i signori hanno ringraziato ,ripromettendosi di tornare.Mi complimento con lei per la celerità con cui ha imparato l'inglese,visto che da noi ha detto di conoscere solo lo spagnolo.Saluti.Rueda Gaucha.

Precisiamo, sin dall'inizio: se volete un'atmosfera raffinata ed una cucina innovativa, questo posto non fa per voi, statene alla larga, rimarrete delusi. Ma, sottolineo MA, desiderate rifocillarvi in un luogo semplice, spartano, dove degustare della buona carne alla griglia, con un conto finale più che equo, allora questo è un buon indirizzo. Certo, specie al fine settimana, o in date festive, preparatevi ad un un po' d'attesa, del resto c'è un cartello, molto chiaro, che vi avvisa: si possono aspettare, in ore o giorni di "punta", anche sessanta minuti. Corretto, significa anche che, diversamente da altri luoghi, con la stessa vocazione, la carne è cotta al momento e non ha subito "pre-riscaldature" o cotture, magari al microonde, per poi essere passata solo un attimo sulle braci. Noi ci siamo trovati bene, il mio pollo era squisito, i calamari fritti ordinati da mia moglie, buoni. Il vino è biologico e ci è piaciuto. Il conto finale, lo sottolineo, onesto. Chi cerca altro, vada e spalanchi il portafoglio. Qui, con venti euro, circa, tutto compreso, a testa ,si degusta una buona griglia, e, di questi tempi, già questo non è poco.

Located just out of the town center, the restaurant was little drab. the hall was dark with ceiling fans blowing forcibly. The appetizers were expensive and the first courses were not imaginative. I had the mixed deep fry which was very expensive and offered economical fish, plus a few scallops. The hostess was professional but not very patient. It was apparent that she was more interested in gabbing with the larger groups than serving a lone customer. I don't know if I would return.

This restaurant is literally just off the main road in Latislana and obviously caters for Germans as well as Italians. If you are not proficient in Italian or German then take a phrase book with you as there are no menus in English and the waitressing staff spoke very little English. We guessed what to eat and the quality was really good - there was alot of red meat if that is your preference and looked very nice. There were some set menus and pasta dishes as you would expect - I think they offered pizza although this was not on the menu. The house wine was excellent - we only paid 9 euros for it - the other white wines started at 19 euros. Two courses with a 1 litre carafe cost 55 euros. Slightly lacking in atmosphere but if it is nice food at a reasonable price then this place serves that purpose well.

We visited around 2000 on a Wednesday night. My wife, two children (11 & 8) and I. We do not speak a word of Italian and my youngest is allergic to eggs and nuts. The head waitress started serving us as she was the only one with basic English. She got out an Italian English phrase book (our phones were out of battery so no google) and helped run us through the options. He got some gluten free pasta and minced meet sauce, my other son got the same but with normal pasta. My wife ordered carbonara and I got their mixed grill with a side of chips. Everyone loved the food. The ribs were dry but tasted decent, the chicken was slightly over cooked but the burger, sausage and bacon steak were amazing. The restaurant will never win a Michelin Star, but it did win me over. A great experience with good food and after 13 hours on the road. Easily 4 stars from me.
