Typical local cuisine every day. Pizzeria open in the evening every friday, saturday and sunday.
Cycling through the region. Hungry. We stopped in Sanza and asked some people if there was a good simple restaurant for lunch and they all directed us to Saro. We weren't disappointed. Up a side street and simply furnished but spotless. No formal menus just a big welcome and a discussion about what we would like and what the kitchen could cook fresh. Generous and varied antipasti was followed by a simple but perfectly cooked pasta - my fusilli was about the best ever! And excellent beer or local vino. We passed on dessert as we had to get along but express was perfect too, not overpowering. And prices were very modest at under 50 euro for three - two courses plus drinks plus coffee and water. Throughout the staff were justly proud of this food and keen we enjoyed it. Including the pasta cook. Italian hospitality at its best! We will alter our route next year to make sure we return.

This Restaraunt has everything, great wines, unique beers, Italian style food, or savory, perfectly prepared, American food like burgers, steaks and fajitas. All wrapped in a casual yet exquisite décor reminiscent of a Hard Rock.I cannot imagine how much work went into setting up this restaurant, from the Harley parked in the middle of the restaurants, to the authentic 1950's American style seating everything is in its place to produce a cool, edgy feel. You might forget that you are in southern Italy until they bring out the outstanding food. Not your usual pasta and pesce, here you can get meats prepared in a special way that you will not easily find in America. I ordered this fantastic steak dish, with some unique preparation and flavor. Now if you are just in the mood for a beer and a burger, or a shot of JD, rest assured you can get a burger and fries that is better than most of what I generally can find in the NY area burger places. Finally they were also able to serve up a great plate of broccoli.Do not expect to speak too much english in this restaurant, this is a true local place, and while you may feel a bit out of place if you don't speak Italian (my italian is rudimentary at best) , this is normal for the area, and as always in Sala Consilina, everyone is inviting, kind and helpful. Just a 10 minute walk from Piazza Umberto and the center of town. The walk is well worth the experience and you will need to walk off all the great food and drink! Thank you Marco for some great food and experience!

Wonderful and attentive service! And excellent pizza done as only the Italians know how! Prices very reasonable, an enjoyable meal after a long flight. We stayed at a superb place 300 mtrs away, IL Tiglio. We would recommend it as well...loved Campana province. .we will be back!

indoor restaurant with fifty seats inside and about 30 in the outdoor covered patio, with views of the city and garden. The Italian breakfast consists of homemade cakes and pies, with organic products and hot drinks. Lunch is a fixed or a la carte, local
Visiting from Canada, we enjoyed this beautiful restaurant in Padula with our family and friends. Family run and operated, it was a truly memorable and delicious experience! From the traditional specialties of the area for appetizers, to the homemade pastas and perfectly cooked lamb, it was a perfect afternoon among the olive trees overlooking the beautiful country side. We highly recommend this establishment! See you soon, dearling K&G

Locale molto accogliente, pulito e ben curato. Suggerito.

FARM Il Castagneto C.Da Pantagnone 84034 Padula SA "A journey in taste, in the landscape and in culture of ancient Vallo di Diano". In the typical landscape of the ancient centre of Padula Vallo di Diano, surrounded by picturesque hills and vast countrysi
After an enthusiastic visit to the Certosa we stopped over for lunch in this country guesthouse with annexed restaurant. The area is full of green and especially nice and safe for young kids. The restaurant was full ( it was Sunday) and we had to wait quite long before being served. The choice is not so wide, but food was good and prices were low ( around 20⬠).
