The restuarant Manna dei Re (The Manna of the Kings) offers a mediterranean cuisine which includes meat and fish dishes. We pride ourselves on pampering our guests in a relaxing atmosphere with traditional fayre prepared in a creative manner by our Chef.
Went to this very excellent new restaurant in the small town of Minervino di Lecce. You canât go wrong ordering anything on the menu here. Worth the trip if you are staying in Otranto or anywhere near. All the fish we ordered was fresh and cooked just right: the tuna, the snapper, and salted cod. Everything was presented in a very picturesque way and tasted amazing all the way to the deconstructed tiramisu for dessert. Nice ambience and the a/c didnât hurt either. Lots of special touches, donât miss this restaurant. Bon Appetito!

In the heart of Salento, surrounded by green fields and 'lovely green Mediterranean, there is the' Farm Holiday SCALELLE: the ideal place to spend a holiday of peace and relaxation. The hotel is open all l ' year, is set in 20 acres of land. It has comfor
Not far from Otranto, where restaurants notoriously overcharge customers, Scalelle is a great place for trying local specialities which are not seafood. They offer a fixed menu allowing to try many local dishes at a reasonable price. Recommended.Thank you so much for your kind review! We hope to see you again in the future, best regards. This is a great, simple restaurant with a good menu and very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was served quickly. We shared beef carpaccio, melanzani parmigiana and potato croquettes for starters, all of which were excellent and for mains we both chose fillet steak with roast potatoes and grilled vegetables; the steaks were only 13 Euro each, the potatoes were Euro 3 and the vegetables were Euro 4 so it was a very reasonable meal. We would happily eat here again, it is not fancy but it is really good.

This place is adorable and I definitely will go there again! :) The surrounding nature is quiet, beautiful and breathtaking. Meals are natural and delicious - perfect. Everything is taken from the garden. In this place I felt so at home because the family who runs this place is kind-hearted, caring, helpful. This place is a true family business with a high level of service and I very much enjoyed the hospitality here. This place is definitely suitable for families with children, loving couples and best friends holiday. The site is located 10 minutes from the beautiful blue water and white sand beaches, water sports supporters beaches, lively town of Otranto, and great party spot - La Dolce Riva. I've just fallen in love with this place, family, neighborhood and Italy itself!

Typical Salento, a wide selection of local wines, horse and beef Florentine grilled.Opened every day in the summer by prenotation. We accept payment with credit card.
Getting here is easy once you arrive...but does not look so when you try to follow the address. The meat is very good and probably worth the trip. They can also cook all sort of fish or what you like with some notice. They keep everything fresh as they claim not to have fridges. The price is very good, but you can only pay cash. This is not a problem as the owner will not make you clean the dishes. I never seen such honesty, which needs to be congratuled.Service is slow and there is not a menu. However this is well compensated by the owner kidness. If credit card would be accepted and the place becomes more "formal", it could have lots of success.

Situated between Otranto and Porto Badisco, Tenuta Sant'Emiliano Farm offers enchanting scenery, the holiday of your dreams, limpid and uncontaminated sea, relaxation, peace and silence. But Tenuta Sant'Emiliano Farm does not only propose accommodation: y
I had read great reviews about that place and I absolutely wanted to go for lunch. Here's a tip if you are driving from Otranto: you have to take the SP87 (Santa Cesaria direction) and you'll find it at kilometer 8. The GPS took us to the wrong place twice, so I had to call the restaurant to get the directions. But it's totally worth the trip!First, the setting is amazing. We sat on the terrace under huge pine trees, with a view of the sea in the background. I took the eggplant raviolis with vegetable sauce. Since they have their own garden, the vegetables and edible flowers on the plate were incredibly fresh, tasty and colourful. My partner had the orecchiettes with polpettas and ricotta. Comfort food at it's best! If you go to Otranto, don't miss out! Finally you found us and we are very happy that you have not been disappointed compared to what you expected :-)Thank you so much for your kind words and if you want to come back, remember that you can also book our rooms, perfect for a relaxing holiday.Thank you again.
