The fiorentina to die for. Reasonable prices for top quality food sourced directly from Tuscany. Other favourites include trippa Toscana and the parpadelle. Panacotta with choc sauce was also very good. All in all very good ambiance, fantastic food and service, not a rip off like so many roman restaurants tricking tourists. One of my favourite restaurants when I stay in Rome.

I have been visiting this place for years and it is beautiful.Beautiful because it is in the Country side near Novara, just 10 minutes drive whereby you can enjoy a walk around the lake before eating and obviously afterwards⦠this place is not for a quick meal and goâ¦! This place is great for simple local food and leisure, for a few hours or even the all dayâ¦Very good local food â it is not a romantic place â it is great for couples and other⦠friends or whatever.Make sure to BOOK as it is always nearly full. Staffs is the owners and are very friendly, the new current owners have contributed in making lots of alterations result of: now an even better excellent place. Quality Value: very good.Will I return: YES but lately I forget to book and therefore no space available⦠but however there is always a wayâ¦! Order some snacks and seat outside in front of the lakeâ¦!

the place is really nice...unique...caracteristic! but thats all i liked in this place. it was a saturday night when we came here for dinner. the place was not full yet when they served us but then we waited at least half hour for our food. the service was slow, we had to ask them twice for things! i think they need at least another waiter for a busy night like this. i found this restaurant a bit pricey.We' re sorry for your wait, but half an hour is the time that's necessary for cooking the dishes , because we prepare our courses with fresh ingredients.

The best place to eat meat around Novara and Vigevano. Despite being known and always crowded (book in advance is quite mandatory) the Il Conte Hop still has a genuine atmosphere with the crew really eager to help and host you. The place is essentially a unique room with around 10 tables that make the place noisy and overcrowded so don't think in Conte Hop as a place for a romantic dinner, but if you're with friend or a partner who loves meat, well this is the right place. Great burgers (included the pulled pork one, with meat slow cooked according the original recipe) and grilled meats. I was twice and tried the tagliata di hamburger - minced meat served with a delicious gorgonzola sauce - and the original tagliata, both excellent: meat medium rare but juicy. My friends ordered pulled pork and burgers, all excellent. Extensive variety of beers, home-made desserts (try the birramisu, a reinterpretation of classic tiramisù ) all for reasonable price consodering you're eating first quality meat. Absolutely worth a visit!
