Dario welcomes you very friendly although professionally, and pays high attention to your requests, allergies included!Raw "Scampi" were delicious, and also the seabream was excellent!The place is simple but very warm.

Astarea is family owned restaurant, specialized for fish and meat.Owner is taking the orders and his wife is preparing dish at the grill.Very pleasent restaurant with great atmosphere, it was full (there was several tables with friends and others with couples).We decided to try the fish, so we have taken for a starter, mixed plate with little bit of everything (octopus salat, bakalar pate, anchovies). It was very tasty. After this we has âriba ispod pekeâ and the main dish was really great (little bit of salt was missing, but this is easy to repair). We have taken also salat and we were drinking home wine. All in all, great dinner for 210hrk per person. When you count all things we have eaten, i would say that there was good ratio between price and service.

I have write a report two or even more years before. By accident I have returned. It was not been my choice and I was almost a little angry about it. However I have take the whole launch here again. Just ... at my surprise a lot has changed. A lot! The food is much much better. Whatever i have tried it was perfect. Also the staff was been far more better then before. The price of the meal has rise but I can survive if the other thing is that much better. Congrats to the owner. The moral of the story for me is that: give another chance to person maybe you can be surprised!

We didn't plan to stop here, but there was slowly moving traffic jam on the way to Croatia and we spotted this restaurant. The parking is on one side of the road and the restaurant is on other side, a bit adventure to cross the road but it worth. It looks like a small family restaurant, friendly stuffs (the waiteress serving us could speak English, German and Italian). They offer a lot of seafood dishes and grill specialities). We spent one hour there, and worth it.

A nice and welcoming atmosphere with a not so interesting menu.Sorry to say but needs a bit of work. The menu is a bit expensive but the taste of the food also needs a bit of work. Levelling the price to the quantity and quality is needed as fastest as possible.All in all I recommend this place just don't ask for extremes.PoÅ¡tovani gosp.Davor, zahvaljujemo se na vaÅ¡oj recenziji. Nadamo se da Äete nas opet posjetiti bez obzira na naÅ¡ "limitirani" jelovnik za koji vam garantiramo da posvetimo mnogo pažnje, pogotovo pri izboru namirnica. Mi smo konoba pizzeria i po takvom principu radimo, domaÄe i provjereno i instant spremano. Vjerujemo da u naÅ¡em jelovniku svatko može naÄi neÅ¡to za sebe, a uostalom mi smo ideje da manje je bolje te da to samo po sebi nosi kvalitetu i svježinu proizvoda. Lp.

We went in konoba Pjero for sleep We (group of 4 girls) had a really exelent time there. We ate lunch and breakfast (egg with asparagus, cheese and prosciutto, deserts) and slept one nigh. Everything was delicious and the room was clean and confortable. I would especcially like to praise the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful.I recommend.

simply wow.ravioli with truffles, gnocchi with asparagus....then 1 beef filet with parmesan cheese and one beef steak in truffles...and we were basically blown away. this place is the real deal for truffle lovers. we will return!ps: the pic attached is a steak covered in truffles. didn't think this cover was necessary for a good piece of meat....but I learned it was!!!

Exellent food in relaxing place. Domesic pasta one of the best I have ever tried. Great meat dishes. Must try if you'll visit Istra.
