For people who like traditional tastes from Crete cheese, or âpolitikiâ cousin, or a mouthwatering kebab then this is the place to go. The setting reminds of Athens in the 60ies with Aristotelis Onassis picture hanging suggesting you will eat like a Proedros ( president). The meat is amazing. Kebabs, black angus fillets, with cool yoghurt dressing make you coming back for more. My wife has fell in love with this place since 2013 the first Proedros that opened in Glyfada.

Awesome burger joint located near the Cholargos metro station (10 minute walk). Juicy Grill offers a wide range of mouth watering burgers and chops along with excellent service. Take caution to the fact they donât offer table reservation. Try to visit in the early hours of the evening.

Have been there many times, but today, the environment was awful. Too many kids, running around and screaming, you couldn't enjoy your meal. We told the owner about this but he was totally indifferent, something which is unacceptable for a businessman. Food and service excellent, BT AVOID Sundays!!

We visited in the evening of a working day. Smoking strictly not allowed which was a true relief. The staff were responsive and polite. The few starters we ordered including feta cheese fried with honey and sesame was pretty hood. The taste of main dishes varied per person. The beef liver was well prepared and tasty, the chicken kaiserli kebab was tasteless, solely salty. The huge beef steak was not tender (probably they should switch to pork). A little later, when a group of people came, the noise in the room became irritating as decibels rose. I suppose it will be very annoying (noise wise), when there is a full house. The manager, should consider some improvements.

Vlachos is a restaurant for meat were they serve only brizolakia with chips and very good hand made pies as cheese pie and spinach pie. The place is one of the cheapest you can find and that is why it is always full of people. You must come on time to find a table.

The African Experience in Athens : Rib Eyes, Chakalakas, Burgers 'n Pitas
My fiancé is from this area of Athens and every time we visit I make sure she takes me at least once. If you like grilled meat this is the place for you. The food is excellent and perfectly cooked. I hear at night is can be really full so maybe a reservation would be best. I find the prices really good and the portions are generous. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the north of Athens.

Casa Del Toro, The Best Steakouse In Athens Can Travel Your Mind And Senses.
We visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and it didn't disappoint. We got the osso busso, which was cooked in the oven for hours, and had all its juices, really tasty, no sauce needed. The feta "spring" roll started was also tasty, as was the potato puree. The waiter even suggested the Malbec to pair our main course with, instead of the Pinot Noir we were thinking, a nice touch that we appreciated. Our only gripe has to do with the way things are presented to the customers to make them seem offered, but instead they are being charged. For instance, after ordering, we were asked if we would like some bread, and that was charged per person in the bill. After eating, we were asked: "would you like us to offer you a mille-feuille?", to which we agreed, but then were charged for it. I would prefer to take another look at the menu, and be asked in a more honest manner about the dessert choices; the way we perceived it was that dessert would be complimentary (as is the case in many restaurants in Greece, especially when they ask if you would like to be offered dessert in the end). The mille-feuille had ice-cream inside, instead of fresh cream, so I was not impressed anyway. We got complimentary digestives, which was a welcome gesture. The atmosphere was lovely, the waiters were really helpful in choosing the wine and serving the food, and the classical music in the background was amazing. I would return to try the steaks, and be more aware of choosing the bread-dessert options.

Sasi's: Sizzle 'n Drizzle is a carnivores feast. It offers the finest cuts of beef expertly grilled and accompanied with a selection of South African wine. It's about casual dinning with great steaks, great wine and great people.
A quite popular place for all kinds of meat and sweet dessert lovers; a little bit of the problem is the parking availability in the surrounding streets. Excellent meat options, a wider variety of wine would be nice, nice surroundings, top service and as a dessert try the banoffe or the chocolate mousse.
