Great charcoal grilled lamb, top notch pasta with truffle, sweet grilled peppers, beautiful red wine and a very good house speciality dessert. High end of the price spectrum for Italian food in this part of the world but well worth it. Very nice rustic atmosphere and efficient service. One of the best in my opinion.

Friends told us about this very nice modern, yet cosy & warm restaurant near Marino (Castelli Romani). A 30min drive from the Rome city Center, just back the Ciampino Airport. really worh the drive. You will be welcomed by Andrea and his sister (Owners) and their friendly, efficient and prompt staff. The menu is a bled of innovative Roman dishes and traditional recipes: excellent Bucatini all'Amatriciana and other pastas of the day; Light and tasty antipasti, really good main course from Coratella, Trippa alla Romana, Galletto, beautiful Tagliata with ceci sauce & black truffles....one would want to try everything. Great salads (rare wild Misticanza with Puntarelle sauce)...very good home made deserts by an expert "Patissier". Very nice bar and great Sunday brunch for only 25 Euros. YOU MUST TRY IT!!!!!

We had a very nice dinner, pizza and pasta, at Moro's. The vaulted ceiling and unstuffy modern decor give the place a comfortable atmosphere, simple but chic. Spacious but not over roomy. The menu is traditional Italian and offers a good range of choices. Excellent service by professional waiter. Free parking available nearby and walking distance from the center of Marino.Grazie mille, a presto!!!

This hidden gem on the Piazza Gariboldi is warm and inviting with friendly staff who speak excellent English and even when we tried to speak basic Italian were good enough to help with our pronunciation. The decor was well finished with traditional touches that made you feel that you were about to be served a good home cooked meal.As it was lunch time we skipped the starter and just went for a pasta course, mine was Pasta with Gorgonzola & Radicchio. which was first class. The wine was recommended and of course we went for a fine white Frascati recommended by the waitress which was excellent and not expensive at 20 euro a bottle. To finish I had the Tiramisu which was as light as a cloud. followed by a strong espresso to wake me up for the rest of the time walking around this gem of a town. This is a must visit restaurant and worth a trip up to this hill top town overlooking Rome. if you go around dusk and stand near the walls at the north of Frascati you will see the lights coming on all over Rome. Very atmospheric. I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.
