Stumbled on this place by chance as it was a Monday lunchtime and many other restaurants were closed. Were so glad we did. On a warm summer afternoon we sat on the terrace at the front where many of the locals also seemed to be eating. The 12 euro set menu was amazing value. Just one of the courses would have justified the price! The starter of pate de campagne served with salad, coleslaw and bread was both tasty and substantial and was then followed by a mixed grill of duck, beef and local sausage with a lentil and potato cassoulet. Finally there was a dessert of a spomge filled with fresh cream and seasonal fruit. Whilst the staff spoke little English they were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is situated on the other side of the bridge from the main street but is well worth seeking out. Highly recommended!
