Stumbled across this great BBQ trailer alongside Hwy 249 about 2 miles north of the junction with Hwy149 and couldn't believe it wasn't busier. Must be the roadworks keeping people away which is a shame as access was easy both coming and going. It's a red trailer on the right as you head from Magnolia to Tomball with covered seating and easy parking. The BBQ Pork Belly and Brisket was excellent. The pork belly was glazed with a little pepper which gave a nice bit of spice to the bite. Both meats were full of flavor with just enough moistness to tease my taste buds! Mike the owner said they plan to roast a whole hog once a month with the next one planned for January 12th so that will definitely be on my calendar. Wyatt even gave me a little extra as it was my first visit. Great service and great BBQ that was not too expensive at all.

We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to make sure that you get your BBQ fix any time of day, any day of the week. We like to cook, smoke, and bake our food the same way it was done 40 years ago. That's why every fresh egg is cracked by hand and every bri
Heard breakfast was amazing here. Sadly not my experience. How do you mess up bacon and eggs? By undercooking them. I was served runny eggs, barely cooked bacon and soggy, barely cooked hash browns with biscuits which had apparently been there sincerely they opened. Very dissatisfied.Kendra, sorry to hear about your experience. We will definitely address this with our staff. Our breakfast is normally very tasty. We hope you'll come back sometime and try it again!- Harry, Owner

Texans love their barbeque and you can get it here. It was originally part of the family of the well-known Hickory Hollow restaurants, actually most known for it's chicken fried steak. Now individually owned by the same person who actually operated Hickory Hollow, it is now the Hickory Corral. Same great food, it is a staple in Magnolia, TX. Very informal atmosphere, which we love. Everything is good, including the barbeque chicken, ribs, beef and chicken fried steak. And if you like fried zucchini, theirs is the best!

The sides are rave worthy, with perfectly fried okra, creamy coleslaw, buttery mashed potatoes with house made gravy and tender well seasoned beans. As for the meat....while I wont comment on the brisket, the ribs and sausage were stellar. Fall off the bone ribs, generous with the dry rub and you can chose to have them dipped in sauce or not...a winner either way. The sausage was juicy and slightly peppery with a snap as you bit through the casing, delicious in every way. Kids are happy here too, with options such as chicken tenders and mac-n-cheese. Yum!

Best BBQ around these parts, and "almost" even better is there ranch potatoes - a fresh twist on plain old potato salad that will hook you from the first bite. And their prices are reasonable - hoping they keep it that way for as long as they can! Also pick up a Lb. or two of different meats to have quick-fixin' meals at the ready.

A small restaurant that does take out too. The meals cost $13-$18. I ordered a lean brisket sandwich and it came out a little fatty. Sandwiches are at least $8.50 which is a little pricey. There is not a lot of parking, but probably sufficient. The meat has a good taste.

Still great! Ted has sold his place after many years- actually he had to reclaim it several years ago and has sold it again. The food remains very good and consistent ( although my strawberry salad could have used a few more strawberries.) Please support this local gem.

Went with a friend this past week for lunch. Ordered food from the Churrascoâs truck. Meat tasted great but way over priced for what I got ... could get better plate of similar food at a restaurant and pay less. Must admit that the array of beer and drinks available is awe inspiring.
