For some reason we did not expect to see a great BBQ place in Lockport. The building is a little unasuming, but once inside,it had a nice comfortable feel with a welcoming little bar, great bbq smell and fast service. My burnt ends bbq sandwich was very good as was the Cole slaw. My wife liked her picken bbq sandwich, which was a combination of shredded pork and chicken. Our waitress was fantastic, tea sweet and we would put this place on top of our list to return to the next time we are in town. The next time I will try the beef on weck.

We went here to pick up an order. They do not hold any sides when you call, which is frankly an interesting way to do business, but we were fine with it and still decided to go there. We were also told on the phone that they had corn bread, but they were busy so they were not sure if they were going to cut it. We went in there to pick up the order and a few sides we wanted were now gone and no corn bread. So, they had corn bread sitting back there and they told us that no, we couldn't not purchase any. That was half the reason I wanted to go there. Unfortunately, we will not be going back.
We had visited Boone's after hearing about them on social media. The place is unassuming, and you can miss it if you are not paying attention. There is plenty of parking in the front and side of the building. Inside is bigger than it looks with a bar and lots of table seating. Staff was friendly and made suggestions for beer and food. Beer selection was nice in that they had regular standards and local beers as well. The day we were there they had a cubano sandwich on special, so we all tried that. I myself had a side of beans and potato salad, which were good, but nothing special. The sandwich itself was excellent. We had a second round of beers, played some tunes on the jukebox and left fed and happy. Will visit again.
