We visited this beautiful restaurant this week during our stay and had the best food of our whole trip in Italy. We both opted for the steak with green peppercorn sauce and after the first mouthful we were in heaven! It was beautiful. We had a great table in the outdoor seating area, which has spectacular views over the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. The service we received was impeccable ... extremely friendly and welcoming. Next time we're in Tuscany, this place will definitely be on the agenda. Well done to everyone at Il Gusto & Il Tatto. Thank-you for the wonderful experience. I love it when restaurants get in right in every way.

Located in the middle of nowhere, ~30 mis from Siena, we found this restaurant in Trip Advisor on our way from Siena to San Gimignano. The reviews were great and the place didn't disappoint. Unpretentious service with AMAZING food, adults and children satisfied, from the Pecorino cheese appetizer, through Ravioli Ragú and Penne Arrabbiata, to the grilled pork and beef, all cooked to perfection!!! Dolci and cafe also outstanding. We sat in the nice covered terrace which was airy and fresh during the hot mid-day hours. Totally recommended and worth a deviation if in the area.

I was there following the rate they received. The restaurant was more than half empty , one waiter who also caters the bar nearby. All dishes served were not of good quality and were extremely disappointed.Not recommendedDear Baldwin2, We are sorry that you didnât like our food we serve from 25 years with good quality and several clients along the years we have the restaurant, but we have two separate ambience: the bar and the restaurant and we have two different waiters, one at the bar (the owner) and one/two -depending on the reservation we have- for the restaurant. Maybe you have seen wrong but this is not our fault. After a quick chatting we discovered that the waiter showed you were is the bar where our guests usually go to pay. We have not one waiter who runs up and down among the restaurant! We hope to continue our work as ever with or without your review!Have a nice day,Ristorante Pestello

We've been to Poggibonsi for dinner. Located near the station, this restaurant is run by a young architect (Luca), that make us feel at home. We found a table for 13 persons around 22:00 and he was immediately shown nice and welcoming. Without looking at the menu we left him advise his typical appetizer. Everything was perfect, classic dishes and revisited dishes. We tasted two first dishes too, "pici" and "ravioli", both with gourmet sauces. Finally we closed with some desserts, and of course none of us was disappointed. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, I hope we will return in the coming days. There are two diamonds to see, the first is the restaurant itself with his entire staff, and the second is the owner. Magic!

It's not your usual Butcher shop, it's much more indeed. You are definitely in for an unexpected treat when you visit the Macelleria Francini, and a very pleasant one. Yes, the name says "Butcher Shop" but inside is a quaint restaurant with amazing fresh food - the carpaccio and tartare were favorites of locals. We enjoyed cuts and wine and a fine time. ...

We sought out this restaurant, based on reviews, for our last night in Tuscany. We are so glad we did! The service was friendly, the food very nice and wine reasonably priced. Steak is their specialty and was great! We had the mixed platter, spaghetti pomodoro, fillet steak and tiramisu between 5.... everything was devoured! Grazie per la sue recensione, lieti di aver soddisfatto le sue aspettative ci auguriamo di rivedervi presto.
