Portion is smaller. Meal is quiet good. Due to review we thought it will be better.Place is beautiful with seaview.Thank you for your comment, Concerning the option size , starter and main course different. According to your expanding capasity you was ordered jest a starter for lunch. Quiet good means , still you had not a good meal in a star class restaurant.The place is actually very beautiful and foods also diclious. (Royal size potion _ according to guest review)Thank you .

A lovely atmosphere in this beach side restaurant which forms part of a boutique hotel. The service is attentive and charming while the food is beautifully served and delicious. Lovely views over towards the Indian Ocean with beautiful boulders on the beach. Any time of year you can chose to sit outdoor or top of the rock next to restaurant because it's has unbelievable views with ocean and green trees. It has a very nice beach bar as well not much of the crowd since place is new and not much people around. Also we used nikara hotel pool with very reasonable rates. ooh forgot to tell the restaurant is build around big rock with complete natural friendly way..

Excellent dinner at beautiful and cozy place! Very friendly staff! Great place to watch animals. Great location! Definitely worth the trip from the village! Very flexibel with dinner times. We were not guests at the hotel but felt very welcome nonetheless! Great local choices on the menu but also great choices for not so adventurous tastebuds (steamed rice and potatoes and grilled fish or meat).Dear Sir & Madam. thank you very much for your nice reviews and I hope to came again Sri Lanka visit Yala Peace Cottages again. kind regards Owner Manju & Staff.

Finally we had Chinese cuisine on our 5th day in SriLanka, way beyond our expectation!!! The dinner is clean and the food is quite tasty!
