We are now regular guests there. We come once a week for lunch. The meals are Fresh And u can even pick the meat yourself for the Barbarecue. There is a big selection of dishes from tortillas to barbecue, fish, calamari, soups, salata- And the prices are very affordable! Every meal I tried was delicious in its own way. The staff is helpfull And always in a good mood. Keep up!

great stop over for lunch or dinner. lamb on the spit is the most popular (croatian word for 'pecenje) close to Slovenia border. Accommodation is also offered with 23 rooms available. good stop in between travels. close to the main highway Zagreb-Rijeka.

We stopped over last week on the way from Split with a couple of friends (Italy, Austria, France). We found restaurant by searching TripAdvisor while on the highway. The place may not look well from outside, but the kitchen is just awesome. Small and cozy, with friendly staff and really excellent and well prepared grill meat, good quality and normal prices (in comparison to the ones in Split :). If you don't expect something super poshy, yet haveing a good meal, this it the place to stop and try grill meet....and meet friendly locals, too.

Great barbecue, great hospitality, reasonable prices and fantastic desserts, especially the chocolate ball with vanilla ice cream in it and hot caramel fudge on top!!! Love it!

Wanting somewhere to break the drive and eat some food our 8yo found this place on the always faithful maps.me (which we use for navigation all the time). Very quaint and definitely Croatian (pretty confident they donât get a lot of tourists there) we enjoyed our meal. We were absolutely starving by the time we got there and there was a little wait for the food to come and confusion on ordering since the lady only spoke Croatian and German but we got there and the food was amazing!!!!! Visit if needing food and driving through.

Not a massive menu thought there would have been more local dishes on offer. Not a lot of atmosphere maybe some background music would be nice although there was a TV playing in front part of restaurant.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Josipdol. It seems to be frequented mainly by locals although the menu is in English also. There is an outside terrace and an inside basement area. Both times the food and service were excellent and the value was amazing. The first time I had pork skewers and the meat was very tasty and tender. The Jumbo burgers live up to their name and the regular pizzas are massive too (I don't think any human could eat a Jumbo one but you can take your leftovers home!). A meal of two pizzas, a burger with fries, a litre of wine and mineral water came to just 180 kunar (about £21).

We chose this restaurant for the very good reviews. So we reserved for the evening. From the outside, a run-down building. When entering the restaurant except an old lady nobody to see. The decor seems from old socialistic times, without atmosphere. After a few minutes we left the "restaurant", which does not deserve the name - regardless of possibly good food -. For us a no-go restaurant, but who likes it .....
