Being from Florida, Iâve been to many Sonnyâs. This one is under renovation and starting to look great and modern. Now the food was definitely up to Sonnyâs standards, the sauces delicious and the drinks WAY too large. But this one gets five stars (circles) for its friendly employees who thanked us repeatedly for coming in. Felt like Sonnyâs royalty!

I had lunch at Arnauds BBQ and Grill on a whim. The restaurant was located close to where I was and wanted to try the barbeque in the Atlanta area. You have a choice of either dine-in or takeout. It seemed that most people were locals who came to get food to go. Although it was lunchtime on a Friday afternoon there were not many people in the restaurant dining in. The restaurant had a regular menu as well as specials that were posted on a wall next to the cash register.The menu had mostly a selection of baskets, sandwiches as well as platters. While there were not that many options overall, they did have the usual items that you would expect at a barbeque restaurant. I decided to try the pork platter which came with two sides, toast and either sweet or unsweet iced tea. I chose the beans and homemade coleslaw as the sides. You have choice of either white or red coleslaw. I had originally requested the brisket but was told that they were out of it, odd given the fact I had arrived soon after they had opened. The pork was nicely cooked and was tasty.Overall the service was good, as was the food. The restaurant is more of a local place and not one where you would go out of your way to if you are just driving through the area. However if you are close and looking for a good restaurant to eat at, Arnauds BBQ and Grill would be that place.

We found Pit Boss BBQ & Grill while looking for a chain restaurant that was listed on a sign along the freeway. It is not a place that you go to for the ambiance, but the staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

This place did not disappoint. From the time we walked in to the time we left the staff was awesome. They greeted us and then the head chef came to our table and talked with us about the history of the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him. If you are ever in Jonesboro please visit This is it for some good food and friendly staff.

The mac and cheese was straight out of a box, the greens weren't seasoned, and the bbq sauce tasted like somebody put an old shoe in the pot. Need I say more? Seriously, I don't know how this place is still open. I rarely see anyone there and I know why.
