We were traveling through the area and decided to give this place a try. It seemed to be quite popular based on the amount of cars in the parking lot. We were able to sit outside in the shade of a table umbrella enjoying the climate of Jasper. I ordered the salad with pulled pork on the side. I was initially overwhelmed when the waitress placed a 12 inch aluminum tray of salad items in front of me and all I had to do was pile on the pulled pork for a fabulous lunch of protein and veggies! Great bbq flavor in the pulled pork didn't really require any additional sauce, but naturally I had to try a few since they were provided on the table. No one at the table had any complaints with their meals at all. Great place to stop if you're in the area.

Davis represents an average BBQ restaurant. The food is ok and if one is in the area and "needs" a BBQ meal then stop in. Otherwise there are superior choices in Jasper.The folks at Davis are friendly and attentive enough. The decor is cute with a bit of country store style evident.

Worst service- disrespectful employees. There was one table leaving and one chair at the bar. Lady said wait one moment while we bus this table. As soon as the bused it a couple jumped from the bar to the table and then 3 folks behind up jumped on the bar stools. The Hostess who knew we were waiting for that table did nothing. Just looked at us like you snooze you lose.
