Discover Restaurants offering the best Barbecue food in Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan. Serving as the capital of Pakistan since the Sixties, Islamabad was built according to a carefully organized plan, divided into sectors along a grid of clean, tree-lined streets. The city is sheltered by the Margalla Hills, the foothills of the Himalayas and the home of rare species of leopard, deer, birds, and even porcupines. Several hiking paths end at Daman-e-Koh, a picnic spot with a splendid view of the entire city, including the massive modernist Faisal Mosque and even the Rawal Dam.

What started off as simply a Nan shop in the same market almost two decades ago, has now become this place frequented buy a large number of locals who want to enjoy tasty food .... plus it is very very cheap as compared to other places. It has a menu containing a wide variety of karahi dishes (chicken/mutton etc), kebabs, BBQ stuff, Baloch Sajji, fish plus Chapli Kebabs. The variety of nans is impressive and for me, they all taste extremely good! There is indoor as well as outdoor seating but it is not some place where one can go for a good family outing as the facilities are quite basic. Well, if you want to have good, tasty food without putting much stress on your wallet, this is surely the place to go.
Haleem Ghar is perhaps one of the best eating places on budget in Islamabad. They offer Haleem, Karahi, Nihari, Chicken Chana and similar dishes. There isn't a great variety of dishes to select from but it is good enough. The cooking standard is reasonably good but the best thing is that it is very cheap. Its hard to find food of this quality in such low price in Islamabad. The restaurant is simple, neat and clean.

This review is of Tandoori restaurant's f-10 branch. This restaurant has great ambiance, great service and serves delicious food. Served in appropriate portions: not too large, but enough to fill you up nicely. The choice of dishes is great. The experience is made even better with the restaurant's décor, comfortable seating and cleanliness. We ordered their bbq platter, hari mirch chicken, chicken karahi, malai boti and biryani. Each of the dishes was cooked really well; so fresh and full of flavour. Malai boti was a bit on the bland side though. Would highly recommend Tandoori.

Highland Country Club-Islamabad âââââââââââââââââGreat Place with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. My 3rd visit and so far it hasnât disappointed interns of food quality and ambiance. The road to the club is about pretty steepy but as their is still constructive going on so I hope it will get better. This time only had pizzas which were great in taste. 10/10 and great value for money.

the most famous dish here is barbecue platter which they invented many years back and now followed by many others. the spice level in their dishes is bit at higher side which may not be comfortable for many young kids.the best thing here is you can order the food on telephone and reserve your table and avoid wastage of time recommended for barbecue lovers.

BBQ Tonight offers a good variety of BBQ. Other than BBQ, they do offer Pakistani curries and Continental dishes too but we found the quality of their continental dishes very ordinary. However, when it comes to BBQ stuff, they are good. So its better to order BBQ dishes only along with an odd curry. We tried four different types of kebabs / tikkas and they were all quite well made. We ordered brain masala too but found it quite ordinary. The ambiance and décor is ok but tables are located too close and overall, despite being a large place it gives the impression of a cramped /crowded place. There is an outdoor seating arrangement too that one can enjoy if the weather is good. Otherwise, better to sit inside. They have enough parking space. Rates are reasonable and it will cost you 800 to 1200 per head, with drinks.

I visited with a delegation of 20-ish and didn't see a bill .... so I can't really judge value-for-money.The setting is a much-renovated historical site. The decor does seem rather Disney-esque in tableau form. Nonetheless, the service is top-shelf, the food tasty and (so far as I'm able to judge...) authentic. The other customers were clearly the wealthy of Islamabad: families, couples, and business-tables. Lots of variety ~ based on curries and bbq-style meats. Of course, no alcohol or pork.

The Kabul Kitchen (KK) is an Islamabad landmark. In the warm summer evenings tables spread out onto the pavements and families sit outside talking and eating. The reason to come here is the excellent food - watch it being made over the grill. We ordered the kebabs and then the meat skewers - they were seared well, tasty and succulent and with rice and naan - it was just excellent. This is excellent value for money and a great place to watch Pakistani society walk by...there is also and excellent bakery. Go enjoy, trust the food and the people - you wont be disaapointed
