Here at Bill's, we have a full dining room and lots of outside seating as well. There is parking up front and additional parking behind the building.
Very nice, friendly and informative owners. Food was good. Service was quick. Plates were reasonably priced.

Catering food trailer selling slow smoked BBQ and fried Catfish with all the trimmings... homemeade slaw, pinto beans and potato salad, homemade hushpuppies and cold sweet tea. Located in the front yard of the Copper Cactus Trading Company in historic Old
We make Friday nights at Tonya's a regular stop whenever we're in the Ingram/Kerrville area. We enjoy the fried catfish plate so much that we haven't tried her BBQ yet, although we hear it is outstanding. We enjoy the Friday night "open mic" sessions in which local musicians show up and perform. It's supposed to run from 6-8 pm but it's become so popular that the music has always run past 8 pm. Tonya's is casual dining in its truest form. The kitchen is basically a food truck and the dining area consists mainly of picnic tables. The clientele are mostly locals but out-of-towers are always made to feel welcome. Tonya is a sweetheart and Mark Piper does a great job as emcee for the open mic sessions.

After reading raves we thought we would give this place a try. Food was just average BBQ which we was kinda disappointed since Texas was known for good BBQ. We have better in KY. The sauce was runny and flavorless. They only have 1 flavor of sauce too. The beans was lack lustier as well. The turkey was good and flavorful. Prices was average for average BBQ. We would not eat here again. Staff was friendly.

At Dickeys Barbecue Pit in Kerrville, we smoke all of our proteins, on site, in the Ole Hickory pit, low and slow all day and night.
After several visits of receiving brisket that was not as good as usual, we decided to try the chopped beef sandwiches. What a great surprise! They are not the least bit fatty and are served on a delicious bun that tasted like brioche. The brisket as of late has included too many burnt ends and/or too many chunks of fat. Will return for a sandwich during the holidays!
