This sweet Turkish restaurant made our day when we were in Hiroshima. All the personnel, especially Mr Adil and the boss of the restaurant, were so kind toward us and provided us with delicious food. Since we were students, they did not accept our money and even gave us a ride back to the station! So, if you want to eat good food surrounded by kind people, well here you will find this Turkish hospitality!

After trying out the Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki at Okonomi-mura ~ a small building that houses over 20 small restaurants over three floors, we felt like having Korean for dinner and once again Trip Advisor came to the rescue. Lucky for us Ottantotto was just in the vicinity.Their English menu helped us order a portion of beef, pork and bibimbap. The quality of meat was really good ~ juicy, succulent and delicious. Eating the crisp burnt rice of the bibimbap was really satiating too.The servers and chefs were welcoming and very engaging. To top it off, they gave us complimentary ice cream. If you happen to be in that neck of the woods I would definitely recommend Ottantotto.

This type of restaurant is one of the reasons we came to Japan - to sample the cultural dishes. It's not every day you eat out and have to cook the meal yourself, this is what made Buchi different for us. Great choice of meats and vegetables to portion sizes depending on how hungry or how many of you dine. You are supplied with a mini table top barbecue pot with hot coals to allow you to cook your food to your liking. Vibrant atmosphere and great service is what adds to making this eatery an absolute delight. For the macho barbecue this place is a must.
