Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Goettingen. Best known to most Germans as the locale of Georg-August University, Gottingen has about 130,000 residents, about a quarter of whom are students. Gänseliesel (Goose Girl) is the city's most famous resident, a 1901 fountain built in front of the 14th century Rathaus (Town Hall), which today houses the city's tourist office. But even Goose Girl can't escape the college students, who by tradition upon receiving their PhDs must climb and kiss her, making her "the most kissed girl in the world."

Timberjacks Grill of Mind is Home for fine food and craft beer, music events and lifestyle by nature.
This place is insane, it feels like a massive restaurant in Wisconsin. The menu was massive and ultimately this was their downfall. The kitchen just couldnât keep up with the menu. While the waiters were working their tails off, everything took way too long tonight. A bottle of water took more than ten minutes to arrive. A single beer took about 25. And ultimately, we waited more than an hour on our food. That said, the food was nice (though after the wait we were pretty much over this place) and the ambiance pleasant. But I wouldnât return.

dropping into town for our daughter´s bisrthday made us to visit this cosy US.style rtestaurant. The offered meals are tempting and to our preference. To go with we had soft drinks. It was a very tasty experience be it Beer Pulled Old No 7, Burger Bacon Cheese or Burger Diavolo - jammy
