Si paga poco in rapporto alla quantità di cibo fornita. Il cibo è semplice, qualità discreta ma non eccelsa; non mi ha particolarmente esaltato, ci sono però stato in una sera settimanale invernale: un giorno non top insomma

Una serata tra amici, zero fronzoli, aria pura e contesto spartano. Nulla di trascendentale, ma ci tornerei se capitasse. Il ciccio Montursi è arrivato un poâ biscottato, ma era così pervaso di mortadella e provolone che lo si può anche perdonare. Lâarrosto di zampina, invece, molto buono. Il conto è stato economico. Magari offrire un amaro, visto il clima âinformaleâ, avrebbe giovato.

Carne di cavallo e non solo, asino , mulo : particolarità locale locali di straordinaria delicatezza e gusto. Braciole di cavallo al sugo e spezzatino al sugo straordinari e poi comunque lasciatevi consigliare da Nicola: lui saprà consigliarvi dandovi il meglio in quel momento.

Okay please put aside your idea of a classy place, forget linen table clothes and cristal glasses. You will have a plastic glass, a table not too stable, a paper towel and wine is only served in jars, no bottles. Forget the menu, here you have first to stop at the butcher's store, spend some interesting time with the owner and make a selection of what type of meat you would like and how you wish to have it cooked. Mainly this is a horse meat based butcher ( as this is typical in this area) but in some months they do also have calf...Nevertheless, whatever you will order ( do NOT forget to ask the waiter to bring you some carne al sugo con polpette, so meat in tomato sauce with meatballs, this is a starter that will blow your mind away ) will be made so delicious that you would love the dinner will last forever. Their saltimbocca are addictive, their carpaccio sublime, straccetti simply irresistible. All served quickly and in an uncomplicated but service minded way. And order their oven made onions and their potatoes, nothing you can imagine, if you are not local, taste like that away from here .The bill then is the last amazing thing of this place. And you can walk out happy as a kid in Disneyland and walk your way back home whispering...

We so enjoyed dining at La Cicershia, being able to experience the flavors of beef, cheese and wine from the Puglia region. We ate far more beef than normal...the grass fed beef was exceptional in flavor and texture. The buffalo mozzarella from Puglia and vegetable side dish were absolutely packed with flavor and the local Primitivo wine were perfect accompaniments. The service was very good and we asked the waiter to make some recommendations (wine, beef dishes) that were right on. Our only disappointment was that we missed the outdoor season for dining and live music.
