With the processing he has a meat market for domestic meat and groceries.It is his own rub and uses oak for his pit fires and it is an old fashioned steel pipe pit. Nothing better to cook with. The food and the surroundings really adds up to more than expected, thus 5 stars!Truly one of the most unique places I have eaten in Texas, it's like an elaborate hot dog kiosk (you order through the window), picturesquely decorated with texan/western artifacts, simple but cozy tables under roof and in the garden. I highly recommend the chopped or sliced beef sandwich (also served as a platter), and I need to go back soon to work through the rest of the delicious menu. Fresh and tasty sides, love the cole slaw.Wish they were open Sundays, though...why not close Monday+Tuesday instead?
