Staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about the menu options. We are not from that area so we wanted to try a local place. BBQ was good and they had soft served ice cream. Inside appearance seems a little out dated but that's not a show stopper.

Aloha! Welcome to your paradise away from home. Ana's is an islander dream for lunch or dinner in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We bring you the taste of Hawaii, and a bit of the culture to remind you of home.
This little gem offers amazing Hawaiian barbecue. If you've never had Hawaiian barbecue, imagine Chinese food, but cleaner and smoother-tasting with less MSG and no fried rice. My friend took me here while visiting and I'm a big fan of L&L Hawaiian Barbecue up in Denver, CO. This place was even better -- makes me wish I spent more time in the DFW area! But then I'd get fat with food this good!

This place has great food, a big selection of sides, and friendly staff. Cafeteria style, good ribs, brisket, yummy hot rolls, and coleslaw. Not busy on a weeknight. I will definitely visit this place again. Great family environment!
I was wanting BBQ and the place I usually go to in the area was closed, so I decided to try Dickeyâs. One of the things that I liked right away was that it had many more choices for sides than where I usually go. It also had more meat choices. I ordered the sliced brisket. It was tender and had a good meat flavor, but I didnât taste smoke flavor even though Dickeyâs claims to hickory-smoke their meats on-site at every location. It wasnât bad, but to me, BBQ without smoke flavor is seriously lacking. There are three sauce choices: regular, sweet, and hot. I tried a little of each one, but couldnât taste any difference between them. The sauce was good though, with a good balance of flavors. I donât like it when the sauce is too vinegary or has too much of any one spice. It was slightly sweet, but I like that. It could have been a little hotter for me, but I like my sauce a little hotter than most people do. I did detect one flavor that I couldnât place. It was good, but I couldnât identify it. When I got home, I got on their web page and checked the ingredients. The one unusual ingredient in it was tamarind. Thatâs why I couldnât place it. Itâs not a flavor you expect in BBQ sauce. Also, the only difference between the sauces is that they put red pepper flakes in the hot one and âwaffle syrupâ in the sweet one. No wonder they tasted basically the same. For my sides I got fried okra and a salad of cucumbers and tomatoes. Fried sides are prepared when you order. The others are served cafeteria-style. Both sides were good, though the okra was a little less crispy than I like it. They have self-serve soft-serve ice cream available for dessert. It had a better flavor than many places (I could actually taste vanilla in it), but had a lot of ice crystals which gave it a grainy texture.Overall, Dickeyâs wouldnât be my first choice for BBQ, but I would go again if the craving struck when other better places werenât an option.
