Always hopping on weekends with rustic wood tables and an excellent grill. Drinks are served cold and the meats are always great. IMHO the beef or pork is always better than the chicken. Plantain chips are good, not great. The service has improved significantly now that each table has a call button that activates the server's smart watch. Weekend nights can be too loud and crowded.

Power Chicken will surprise you. It is fast food place along the "Fast Food Strip" in El Progreso, however the food is great. Not only chicken, but shrimp and beef -- all grilled right in front of you. No special atmosphere or ambiance, but the pollo a la parrilla is great; so is the shrimp. Very low prices for a very good meal. Limited, but safe parking outside.
