We found Rooster's in Decatur and loved it. Months later we were ecstatic when we were driving through downtown Denton and saw this one. Had to try it and so glad everything was just as good. Love the feel of the place, the service and food. My favorite is the brisket burger. I'm not a brisket guy but this thing is awesome. Also, the chips that come standard are good but also try their onion petals. Prices are very good for the quality you receive. Parking can be tough so try driving around back if full in the front.

The Rudy's BBQ is very good and is almost as fast as a drive inn. It is much better that other chain BBQ places. The Brisket is awesome especially if you order moist untrimmed. Ribs are great and the potato salad is the best around.

Well after having Rudy's, I was not sure what to expect at this strip mall eatery. Looks can be deceiving and wow what a diamond in the rough! I had moist brisket ribs and cole slaw. It was terrific and easily the 2nd best BBQ I have had in Dallas. (Hutchins in Frisco is still #1), but seriously this good BBQ in DENTON???? So the smoke ring is perfect, the brisket is not overwhelming and the crust has a terrific flavor. Same with the ribs.. perfect flavor with a little spice. Add the interesting yet very tasty BBQ sauce and you have a winner! Great job! Try this place, you won't regret it!

We are accustomed to KC BBQ. This food was good here, sauce was very good. I felt the brisket was a bit dry but that was solved with more sauce. Nice portions at a reasonable cost plus we got seated very quickly on a Saturday night. We were on vacation and it was good to try Texas BBQ. Food was served quickly.

We have visited this restaurant a few times and the food is consistently of good quality with attentive service. Barbecue meat is the focus here and it is done well even by Texas's standards. The portions are generous, with the meat always tender and juicy. The sides are good as well. Fun place to enjoy family and friends for great food and adult beverages.
