We went to this establishment in Crystal River for the first time yesterday. It's hard to find good BBQ around here, (and after yesterday's meal) the search continues. We ordered the Three Meat Combo. Consisting of brisket, pulled pork, and wings. All meats were completely tasteless. No smoke flavor or any other kind. It's like a vampire sucked the flavor out of the meat in the kitchen (instead of their blood). I had the Bubba Marley wings. I wanted to try them after these won the Citrus County Wing competition. What a let down. They are a dry rub tasting mostly of salt and not much else. Everything came out to our table at room temperature. Not a hot item on the tray. I can't say I even found a sauce of theirs that was that great. I don't plan on going back.

As you enter the establishment,the smell of Hickory smoke greets you with a pungent aroma. The servers are friendly,and accomidating.The food is done perfectly,succulent fall of the bone St. Louis,or Baby Back Ribs. Juicy Pulled Pork sammy. The baked beans are a delight,and the Tater Salad is made with Sour cream. It was Ok,but I like a Mustard/Mayo base,with lots of onions,and some bacon bits. It was good though! Craft Beers,and Domestic,Wine,and Tequila specials. 2 for 1 on select nights. Awesom Sauces.

Having not been here for several years, (for no particular reason ) my wife and I stopped in tonight. Thursday was their T-bone steak special for $14.99. A generous cut of Black Angus beef grilled and seasoned to perfection with 2 sides, presented by our server Victoria. My wife had Gulf grouper, grilled, which she was very pleased with. Anyone can fry fish, grilling places the chef in a more critical roll which was handled very well. Through out our meal Victoria took very good care of us. She showed pride in what she does and the establishment she represents, both honorable qualities.Desert maintained the same high level and offered a satisfaction level few can attain. I am talking of the key lime pie, but not just any key lime pie this is an exclusive offering known as Raven's Key Lime Pie. A pie with the right degree of tartness and a proper balance of key lime, something many come close to, but few attain. We had the good fortune of meeting Raven, as likable as her pie.Give this restaurant a try you will find a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to reward your taste-buds in.

Thank you for the superb evening. We enjoyed the clam soup, crab cakes, fish and shrimp. The prices are good. A beer for a dollar is really good. The service is lovely. The whole thing takes place in a general store and that adds to the Charme. Thank you a again for the evening.

Our family stopped here after a day of boating on the Crystal River. The atmosphere was very casual but clean. We were surprised over the menu -- a wide variety of food offerings. We ordered pizza, calzones and wings. Everything was delicious! We were impressed that the chef Gaetano came out of the kitchen to talk with us and ensure that everything was to our liking! Great customer service. We will definitely return.
