Good barbecue, fair sauce but save room for the banana pudding---best ever. Brisket plate is good. Sauce is a little overpowering which sometimes indicates less than tasty meat, but that isnt the case here. So get it on the side so you can enjoy the flavor of the meat.
You can smell the smoke from the road. At first, you might think you've made a wrong turn as you meander down the road towards a metal-barn-like building and see a house in the near distance. But it's inside that barn where the magic takes place. Just park under the cover and head into the small tract building on your left. The menu of offerings is on the chalkboard, the counter folks are friendly and willing to step you through the process. Smoked jerky? All animals welcome. Sausage? Spicy, mild, juicy and delicious. In season, they sell crawfish by the bag. 35#s of a Cajun man's finest dream. Field-run are huge, and less expensive than anyone else in town. And, if you can stop your mouth from watering long enough, ask for a taste of their special of the day. You won't be disappointed, and glad you came.
The ribs fall off the bone! The brisket really tender and no barbecue sauce is needed. The Cajun side - Have to order the Cajun baked tilapia with dirty rice!

Stopped here for lunch with my Mom, she got the steak and said it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and green beans. Green beans were great, chicken sandwich was okay. None of the drinks tasted bad (saw that in another review), tea tasted fresh.
