However , Smokehouse number 1 in Hillsboro is keeping up the tradition and has not lost its number one quality in meats , fine dining and friendly staff. Ya'll come now hear !

The food was very good. I purchased a two meat plate with Polish Sausage and Pulled Pork. I also got Cole slaw and potatoes. They had two BBQ sauces, one was regular and the other was spicy. The roll was also very good. We've also stopped at the same chain a nit to the South on I-45 in Buffalo,TX.

You have to work at finding this BBQ, take what is available, and count yourself lucky. No frills, BBQ Ribs fall off the bone, Sell out as soon as they open, lack of chocies and still be happy to get a taste at all. Bull in the Box Beans had me grabbin for the crackers, Boudin like it should be, and pull pork that leaves your mouth watering. Only open for a very short time, they love to cater and hopefully as business builds so will their amount of BBQ they cook for the day. However think Franklin's in Austin and you will be pleased you have found a little bit of heaven closer to home. By the way hard to find, just off I 45 and by the corrider of chains and Bills Fried Chicken which is pretty good too!
