After reading reviews for this restaurant we decided to try it out since we were heading to Hazlet State Park for some hiking. One thing that was omitted in the reviews is that there is no indoor seating. They have picnic benches near the building and on the Sunday that my wife and I were there it was a beautiful fall day so eating outside was delightful. The brown bag special is the way to go. Pulled Pork sandwich, a bag of chips and a 22 oz.(?) fountain drink for $5, incredible value. Sandwich was excellent, not to much sauce on top and a nice sprinkling of dry rub. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful food with a variety on the menu!! I suggest the bbq'd chicken or as my husband requested "a big, dumb, and sloppy, Philly Cheese steak sandwich!" Everything has always been delicious from the Home Plate and the prices are very affordable which makes it even better!!

We were so happy to find this location and it being closer than the original location. It is off the beaten path a bit and a hidden gem. The staff were very friendly and quick. The service was top notch. The food was enjoyable, and portion sizes for the price were great. The view across the golf course was a great addition too. We had no complaints, we all left full and happy and ended up with too much to eat!
