Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Canggu. Canggu is a coastal village and 10 km beach on the south coast of Bali, Indonesia. It lies approximately 10 kilometers north of Kuta, and presents a much more relaxing atmosphere of dining, cultural and beach activities. The main Canggu streets are Jalan Batu Bolong, Jalan Padang Linjong, Jalan Batu Mejan and Jalan Tanah Barak. Along Jalan Batu Bolong you find the temple of the dead, Pura Merajapati, and the Pipitan Cemetery. Along the beach there are two main temples, Pura Batu Bolong and Pura Batu Mejan, which are both hundreds of years old and were initiated for building by Dang Hyang Nirartha. The Canggu area used to have scenic views of paddy fields and coconut groves but current rapid developments are quickly replacing these traditional views with private villas.

But when you get there, the buzz, atmosphere, encourage you to order, then you find yourself enjoying it. This is that kind of restaurant. Great fishing orientated decor, lowish lighting (but you still see the food). Fast friendly service, good prices and tasty food. My mahi mahi was slightly over cooked, but it felt churlish to raise it as it was still good. Small but solid selection of wines. Popular; we had to share a table for four with two others, but there is reasonable space. Food was quick. Just a super. Local restaurant, deserves to be better rated.Thank you for your review! Tropikale was the perfect place to visit at either Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner; great selection of food and coffee and versatile with Vegan/Gluten free options. Every time a dish was ordered, the waiting staff double checked for allergies or whether sauces were wanted on the side or on the dish. The service is always incredible, friendly and attentive. Smashed avo toast for breakfast is the one!!!

food is excellent, staff are wonderful and make their guests very welcome. The only down side is their wine is expensive, very nice but it does increase the cost of the meal considerably. When the wine costs more than the food, that can't be right but we still went back.Dear illbesixfootunder,Thank you for your kind words and we are very happy you enjoyed our food and have been to our place 4 times in one week.However, please note that wine everywhere in Indonesia is very expensive due to 100% import taxes. Had dinner at Bli Crackling. My friend and i have been wanting to try pork in Bali. This was hands down one of the best meals we had eaten. We ordered Pork Knuckle, Crackling & a side of beet & feta salad.The pork was so tender, I've never had anything like it! The crackle on the knuckle and the individual pork crackle was amazing.We were served by Budi & Dewi who were very professional and friendly while taking our orders and explaining the specials!- the cocktails were also amazing!Will come back again for sure and will be recommending to friends & family!

What a find! Top shelf service with a cold washer, hand gel and bug spray on arrival. The staff were very accommodating and polite.The menu is diverse with western and Balinese offerings in surroundings that are modern and clean. I went for Mr Bobâs Ribs and was not disappointed. A large meaty slab of tender ribs was served up with a Balinese blend of spices and sauces. My wife had the Nasi Goreng Ayam which was packed with flavour. Being just north from the overpriced central Seminyak restaurants, the prices here were very reasonable. With 2 for 1 beers all day, you canât go wrong.A special shout out to manager Wiri for his excellent service and advice.
