My wife discovered this gem on a chef's travel blog. We had to work into our itinerary based on his glowing review. An authentic local feast of 24 courses for 26 Euros, including wine, tax and gratuity?! It was a marvellous culinary exploration provided by warm, knowlegable proprietors. This restaurant is loved by locals. It offers regional favorites, but also fresh seafood on Fridays/weekends - not easy to find in Umbria! Service is friendly, food is delicious, and the place is generally full of locals - for good reason! If you are looking for a great lunch environment, well-prepared and tasty food, good service, and excellent wine, visit La Locanda. You'll easily find it by all the cars out front! Highly recommended.

We chose this place randomly when we visited the Sedano Nero festival. Turned out to be a good choice. They had several celery specialties whitch we tried. The celery soup, Parmesan celery tart, celery stuffed with sausage, all fun and good, why not during the fest?

A typically Italian authentic meal with excellent personable service and great views .We visit Italy regularly and must say this restaurant is very reasonably priced with locally sourced ingredients and a changing menu.There were 4 of us and we had a great welcome from the owner and his partner .Plenty of patience and enthusiasm to share their menu and philosophy.Hopefully we will return to Trevi next year and re visit Locanda Castellini.Dear friend, we are glad to had you and your friends for dinner and we are happy that you like the food, the wine and the companion. Nice place, good food, impressive starters, main courses are good, but some of them are small. Staff made some mess with order, but generally it was a nice stay.

My husband and I came here with a friend and have never forgotten this place.The owner came to the table without giving menu's. Our friend told him: surprise us!He instantly came up with things to make suggesting a few starters, two different pastas to taste, a large quantity of grilled meat with truffel and oven potatoes and a choice of dessert.Every single thing that he brought us was delicious, tasteful and made with the heart.Also the price was in perfect balance with quantity and quality. But honestly for the food that I've got there I would have paid anything without complaining.Go there and let them surprise you!
