Came here for dinner with a friend. I ordered the beef ribs and my friend had the tri-tip.My friend said her trip-tip was very good and would order it again. My ribs however were a disappointment. There was very little meat on them. Of the five ribs I got, only one was what I would call passable. We did like the sides however - braised greens, mac & cheese, bbq beans. We had a nightcap at the bar before we left. When it comes to bourbon and rye whiskey, they have a better than average selection. They even offer flights of whiskey.

Not bad Hawaiian food. My son gets a craving for his spam musubi and he likes it. The employees there are not very friendly and on slow paced. We've had other items there and everything is pretty good.
First time at this restaurant and it was a real pleasant surprise. Nice Hawaiian music, clean dining area inside and out, and friendly employees. They even had a stack of current Hawaiian newspapers and complimentary after meal candies. Yumm.We had one of the chef's specials for the day, spicy chicken and spicy pork. Both were stir fried with onions and good and spicy. Served with 2 scoops of rice and macaroni salad on top of some shredded cabbage. Everything was cooked just right and our meal was even delivered to us. By the time we ate, the restaurant was full with a small line to order. I love Hawaii and I felt for an hour that I was on island. Mahalo!
