Came here for a late dinner - they open til midnight.Ordered some starters - hummus, muhammara, and cheesy bread which were all absolutely delicious and came with some lovely fresh flatbread for dipping.Mains - I had a sausage sandwich which was delicious and my partner had a meat kebab which he said was the nicest thing he'd eaten in Beirut.Importantly, all the food tasted fresh and good quality and was seasoned perfectly.Staff were appropriately attentive and service was good. Good value for money.

Spending a weekend with family and friends in Beirut & preparing for partying all night on Friday we went for an early dinner at Meats & bread . We ordered 2 racks of rips one order of wings, burgers a few beers. All was excellent. We sat at the middle no RESERVANONS needed but the place is packed with people & many more waiting to get in. Price is good. Not fancy but excellent food & good service.

Kababjiâs sandwiches are rich with flavour and very well made. The staff is friendly and fast, and although considered a fast food place, the food quality is extremely high. However, I would note that the wrap size may actually be rather small for someone that is very hungry- would recommend getting two!

We tried the hip, hole in the wall Smoking Bun on the recommendation of a local from Beirut. The burgers are fantastic! High quality beef, fresh bun and very tasty. The fries were cooked nicely with seasoning salt (which I personally love). Portion sizes were solid. Not huge (this isn't Texas) but fulfilling. No food coma afterwards. And the staff are great.
