I find the brisket, turkey, and sausages quite tasty. The jalapeño and cheese pork and beef sausage is a bit spicy and I really like spicy. The beef sausage also has tasty spices and is well cooked. The potato salad and cole slaw are both made well. I also like their big bbq baked potatoes.Gloria - Thank you so much for visiting and for trying such a nice assortment of items. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your self and we look forward to hosting you again!

Billys is good. Same home time owners forever so very consistant in the outcome of the food. We like the chicken the best there. It really could use some updating, flooring, etc. after all has been supported by locals forever they can give back a little.
BBQ joint with all the fixings, Beer and Wine, Room available for gatherings (39 max). Friendly atmosphere, T Vâs
It has been a long, long time since I had a BBQ rib that was cooked as perfectly as this....it melts in your mouth......as does the brisket....and I can't wait to go back and try the chicken & sausage! My husband was instantly won over by the homemade banana pudding.....no need to drive any further than the top of the hill for the most perfectly grilled meat in the area!
Best darn BBQ in Bastrop, we ate here and OMG the food is freaking delicious. The cost was perfect, heck for 2 plates it was cheaper and better than Southside BBQ!!! This is a must eat at place, it is also the original gas station from the 1974 movieâTexas Chainsaw Massacreâ!!
My nieces were visiting from Montana and wanted to taste some authentic BBQ. Found Larrie's on my GPS and drove to it. It's a little ways out of Bastrop, but definitely well worth it. The couple who ran the place were so friendly and nice. The small restaurant was very clean and tidy. Not much atmosphere, but we came for the food, which did not disappoint. We each had a 1 meat plate (different meats) and sampled off of each other's plates. The chicken was moist, the brisket very tender, and the sausage flavorful. Each plate was served with potato salad, beans, onions, pickles, and bread. Large, tasty portions - almost too much. Our meal with drinks was less than 30.00. Not bad, considering dinner was not necessary that night! A great lunch stop find!!! Thanks!
