Received with a smile at the door and shown to a table immediately great service from the waiter who made good suggestions and stayed one step ahead food was exactly as ordered and tasted great. One down point for all spur restaurants is the space at the tables I noticed the discomfort of other big people as well at other tables its a case of pushing in as many tables as possible compromising on space and comfort at the tables but overall a good experience with good food and serviceHi Frikkiebuys,Thank you for taking the time to review our Clear Waters Spur family restaurant. The Spur is right opposite the kiddies play center in Galleria Mall, so its a wonderful place to stop and let the children have a ball. Meals are reasonably priced and they have a large variety. They also have their own place center. Children are catered for, they get balloons, colouring pictures, and good meals for them. Dear Spiller2013,Thank you for rating Eagle Canyon Spur! The Fish Box and Ribs is an amazing little spot on Old Main Road, Gillitts. This eatery is divided into two sections. The left-hand side serves take-out including the best fish, calamari and chips I have ever had in KZN, as well as ribs (select your size and flavour from the fridge - gas-braai'd in front of you) and prego rolls etc. The right-hand side offers a number of delights including decadent home-made brownies, baked cheesecake, rusks, biscotti etc (subject to availability). A daily seasonal menu of three or so items is available for sit-in at the delightfully eclectic and stylish cafe. The proprietor and owner takes a personal interest, acting as a gracious host and chef. The food is out of this world, and extremely good value for money. This has definitely become a personal favorite for me! Just make a note to check their opening hours online as they close most evenings at 7pm.
