The Abbey Resort's very own Waterfront Restaurant is known for its casual, laid back vibe. It's the perfect place to unwind, either on the patio or indoors, and serves lunch, dinner or drinks. We use the techniques of award-winning Pitmaster Matt Whitefor
We had several meals here. At lunch the service was slow, much better at dinner. The food ( burgers, etc. ) was very good. The chairs inside were a wee to hard for me; if you need a softer seat ask for the small booths just to the left of the hostess stand. I also found the outdoor wooden chairs more comfortable than the indoor wooden chairs. Good variety on the menu.

But friendly and welcoming staff is what I experienced in this old-school tavern in the rural Lake Geneva area. Chief complaint...and correct me if I am wrong is they dont serve draft beer, just bottles and cans. Other than that, atmosphere galore, but off the beaten path.

Went for dinner tonight, it's Friday in WI, so it's fish fry. Love that the fish and chips were served in the paper cones, along with cinnamon flavored fried apple slices (delicious). Three large pieces of haddock, lightly breaded, fried to perfection; potato slices, kind of like steak fries with malt vinegar to add to them; super fresh salted rye and Irish soda bread slices (like cake). I'm not a sweet tartar sauce fan, but the lemons were enough. Brought enough home for another meal tomorrow night. Joe was our server and was so helpful and friendly, would have been happy to have him join us. I highly recommend, hope to go back for lamb shanks on a Thursday night. Good job, all of you at Foley's.

Nobody would think of visiting the Americana restaurant unless you were staying at the Ridge Hotel. And it's out of the way for Lake Geneva tourists (3-5 miles west of town). We had a surprisingly great dining experience there about 3 months ago... and tried it again last week to another great dinner. The romain wedge salad was the best salad my wife ever had. A salad! Delish house dressing, gorganzola, egg, smoked bacon and topped with perfectly grilled salmon.I had the prime rib, sea salt rubbed baked potato, vegetables. Fresh, cooked to perfection, to die for. Accompanied with a hand-muddled Brandy Old Fashion -- Sour "When in Wisconsin..." and a glass of Proseco. The help was wonderfully polite. A bit green. But fine. The bill was $90. P.S. GREAT window views of a lake and outdoor patio / tiki bar.

We visited at an off hour to grab a sandwich after driving up from Chicago. We were warmly welcomed. This is a place your order at the bar kind of place. I have found this format frustrating when places are very busy, but it was a nonissue due to the off hour. The sandwiches we ate were delicious and the prices seemed low, until we realized sides are extra. (Which I like if all I want is a sandwich). It has a fun view of the lake. Being an indoor, outdoor place the flies were annoying but the lake area seems full of them this year. One young employee was given a fly swatter and bottle of cleaner to decrease the population. Relax and eat here.

Whether you are looking for a light afternoon snack, a delicious entree, or just a few well poured boat drinks Gordy's has got you covered. Located in Fontana on the west end of lake our waterfront restaurants offer a stunning view of Lake Geneva while yo
We live relatively close to Lake Geneva, and we are there a few times annually, however, we typically go to the north-east side of the lake, where the majority of the restaurants, shopping, etc. . . are located. A friend recommended Gordy's and we were pleasantly surprised. Gordy's has a nice lake view, some outdoor lounge chairs where you can have a drink while you wait for your table (and it's busy, so you might have a wait), and the area has a lively atmosphere, but not as crowded with tourists as the downtown area. We had a good meal with a nice view and discovered a part of the lake we had not visited.Thank you for your review!

This used to be one of favorite places...not anymore. Waitress acted like she should couldn't wait to get rid of us. Rushing us through dinner, bringing entrees out when we were working on salads and brought cheese and crackers with the entrees. Ribs were tough. Then disappeared when we were ready to pay.

I felt compelled to order Mexican food since that seemed to be Lucke's specialty, even though it was tempting to order one of the Friday fish specials. I decided to go with the chimichanga. The menu states the burrito comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, while the chimichanga comes with just lettuce and tomatoes. But just to be safe I ordered it without cheese. It was really good, but about 2/3 of the way through I saw that it was filled with cheese. Oh well - I'm not allergic to the point that I go into shock. The beans and rice were good, as were the waffle fries that a friend offered me. The prices were good, and the decor was nice. And the service was good considering we were there right in the middle of the lunch rush. But next time I'll try the fish.

PIER 290 Restaurant is situated along the western shores of beautiful Lake Geneva, in the quaint village of Williams Bay, WI. A uniquely American restaurant focused on clean flavors, fresh ingredients, and attentive service. PIER 290 is a year round resta
We stopped here for lunch - we enjoyed walking the path from the Main Road. Very upscale restaurant - beautiful decor inside and we enjoyed browsing the gift shop and reading the signage on the walls after lunch. It was interesting to watch the boats on he water - since this was a Wednesday and some schools have started back, it was very quiet here today. I ordered a burger (Classic Burger Sandwich) and found it to be very good. We all enjoyed our lunches here and Brooke was a great server. Thank you!

It's hard to believe that we've never been to Harpoon Willies in all the years we've been coming to this area. A friend recommended so we went for dinner before visiting the Belfry Theatre for a show.We ran into several people we know who also were dining pre-Belfry. I had a delicious mushroom/swiss burger and sweet potato fries and my spouse had a chicken sandwich and salad. All the food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely return again very soon and highly recommend it.
