Located kitty corner from the Historic and famous Ellis County Court House Big Al's is a nice place for any meal of the day. The staff is great and most accommodating. Do it yourself Bloody Mary's are great on Sunday.

I wanted to like this place. Weâve been 3 times over the last year and weâre done. The service is always awful and our orders are never correct. Weâve tried, but they just canât seem to get it together. Such a shame since Waxahachie could benefit from a true steakhouse.Hi, Susan. This Chili's is right at the corner of 77 and 287 with ample free parking. Layout and the menu is the same as others. What was different at this time was the attitude of the wait staff and the cleanliness of the place. Unoccupied dirty tables sat uncleaned for the time we were waiting for our meals. Very unusual. Wait staff nice and polite but not present to refill glasses or get anything from. When given the credit card it took a long time to get it back with the waiter in the back jawing with his buddies instead of bringing us the bill with take out getting cold on the table. This Chili's needs some help.

Had lunch here on a weekday afternoon. Food was good, hot and served quickly. Service was excellent. This location seems to offer a consistently good value.
This place sits by an interstate highway and you would never know what was inside just driving by. I'd been wanting to go as I had heard good things. We had a nice evening and ended up ordering dinner with a friend we met there. What is inside is nothing like the outside. it was very cool with lots of TV's and a comfortable ambience. We ordered a pork sandwich and fries and they were typical bar food. This place used to be a beach volleyball venue so there are some nice sand courts outside and there were several people out hanging around them when we were there. It is worth a visit, don't expect gourmet cuisine but you should have a good time.
We were told that there was a full bar... we wanted drinks that were "off menu"... waitress said if it was not on menu.. it wasn't available. Hubby wanted a Maitai...simple drink... not in menu... waitress said not an option Was this the lazy waitress or the bar? Service was poor here.. will not return

Enjoyed a light, lat lunch consisting of:Vegetable Italian Soup, Side Dinner Salad, and The Crab Cakes (2). The soup and salad were pretty good but not outstanding. The Crab Cakes, however, were very good. They had a light bit of Cajun Remoulade Sauce on it which made it over the top great. Now we need to return in the evening for their famous Shrimp & Grits. Will review again afterwards.

Here at the College Street Restaurant and Pub we strive to be an authentic taste of England with a little bit of a Texas flair. We are a family business with deep family roots in England which allows us to provide our customers with a true Pub-like experi
It is a British style pub with a Texas flair. The menu offers a variety of local homemade favorites and traditional pub fare. Saddle up to the bar and enjoy a variety of draught beers (local and crafts), bottled beers, wine and spirits. You can catch your favorite teams on one of there three flat screens. They offer both inside and garden seating. We started with the RASPENO DIP & CRACKERS. It has Cream cheese drizzled with a raspberry jalapeno sauce. Sweet & spicy. We had the REUBEN SANDWICH. Beef pastrami with sauerkraut, 1000 island & swiss cheese on rye. Served with crisps. We had the PUB CHIPS, Homemade potato chips, we really think you should try these. I had the TURKEY CLUB. It is made up of sliced turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo & swiss cheese. Served with crisps. We had the PUB CHIPS, Homemade potato chips, you try these.
