I ate here the other night when driving through Waterloo. Had a grilled cheese and fries. Service was really fast and food tasty. Felt like everyone though was in a rush for me to leave. Several folks asked if I was done...even when my plate was still mostly full. I was in a hurry and wasnât trying to linger.
Went here to watch the hawkeye game, and ordered a side of cheeseballs. Service was outstanding considering how many people were there, however you don't really get your money's worth with the cheeseballs. Overall, good experience.

In town for convention, fellow Irishman and one German joined me for lunch at Jamesonâs. Great burger special for them and Reuben for me. Great sides, food quality, preparation and atmosphere. Excellent service, very friendly wit lady. Well worth the stop, tell them the Irish General Bob sent you.

Whether you're in the mood for a perfectly cooked steak topped with your choice of our flavorful crusts and sauces, our signature grilled Caprese salad or our savory Maryland style lump crab cake, the menu offers a variety of choices that will satisfy any
This is part of the Isle Casino and is mainly geared to the casino customers rather than to restaurant customers. The restaurant itself is on the second floor and overlooks the casino. In comparison to more specialised steak houses, Otis & Henry's is fairly bland. The steak options are limited with prime rib only being available at the weekend for example. There is an extensive list on non steakhouse type options as well as a standard dessert menu. The wine list is rather limited but contains both US and imported options. All in all a little disappointing.Thank you for allowing us to host you at our restaurant! Our goal is to provide a delicious meal for all of our guests, with a great atmosphere. It does not sound like your experience was up to our usual food standards. We have taken note of your feedback and will be sure to use it when making future improvements. We hope you choose to visit again. Thanks!

Breakfast is served 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Serving fresh made hash browns, sausage gravy and biscuits, omelets and a fresh cup of coffee. Known for our awesome Broasted Chicken, fresh made hamburgers and our own homemade onion rings. Our menu also includes
We were staying across the way at the Holiday Inn, and wanted some late evening drinks. As we walked in, there was the smell of cooking oil. Broasted chicken on the menu so there's where the smell is coming from. Ordered some drinks, chicken and a small pizza. Drinks were over priced, chicken was hot but no flavor, no seasoning at all, and pizza was under cooked. One of the owners was tending bar and not very friendly and kinda gruff. We wont be spending our money here next time we come into town. This is one of those occasions where service makes or breaks an experience. Russ, being one of the owners should take some lessons on customer service.

First visit to LJâs while visiting Waterloo. Enjoyed! Variety of menu items. Prices on their daily specials were good. Some other prices on the menu seemed a bit high for a small local establishment. Good size portions. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. They didnât mind that we sat and visited for several hours so thank you! Wouldnât hesitate to return.

A stage for live music and neat decor all over. Kind of a biker bar feel to it. I had the breaded chicken sandwich for $9.00. It was pretty tasty. Decent menu selection. I would return

Our 20 BBL BrewHouse resides within a wonderfully renovated facility. Featuring a traditional Beer Hall and Beer Garden for those craving a social dining experience, as well as a dining room for what us Iowans would consider typical dinner seating.
SingleSpeed is one of our favorites in Waterloo. We get there pretty regularly. The burgers and tacos are really good. Last time we stumbled on the wings. And we are hooked. They are big and flavorful. Some of the best we've had anywhere. I'm kind of surprised but it is true. The beer selection is good but as others have noted it would be nice if they rotated in some guest brews and they have gotten just a little too into the sour trend. The vibe is cool and I'm looking forward to warmer weather so we can check out the outdoor space.
