Oskars is open 7 days a week serving morning coffee and scones for the tired and weary. Our lunch menu is the best of both worlds - Carvery and specials as well as our specially designed A La Carte Menu. The Carvery includes roast of the day, market fresh

My Wife and I ate dinner here on a stopover night. I had a smoked mackerel with chips and salad which was tasty but a little overcooked with some dryness as a result. My Wife had a sweet and sour pork which again she said was nice but it came with too little sauce. With two pints of Guinness the bill was 34 euros

This exciting new dining scene in the hub of Waterford's Viking Triangle is a concept based on local, fresh, simple, honest and seasonal food with bursts of flavor. So whether you are with friends, clients or on a night out, this casual dining experience
We found this restaurant online. It had great reviews and a wonderful menu, so we made reservations a week in advance. When we arrived, they sat us at a table in the bar, under a very loud speaker. When we pointed out we had reservations, their explanation was that they had several large parties occupying their dining room. This was 6:30 on a Saturday night. We couldn't stay due to the noise and had a hard time finding a table at another restaurant at that time. Very disappointed they wouldn't honor the reservation.Dear Ellen R,Thank you for taking your time to review us on TripAdvisor. Please accept my apologies for your last visit. We are the premier venue in the city and we are always fully booked on Saturday. I am sorry that allocated table did not satisfy you and I am sorry we did not find you an appropriate seating. I am sure we could have dealt with this issue better and I can assure we will implement this matter in our training program. Please do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected] to discuss this matter further. Thank you.Sincerely,Paulius

Having left Waterford some years ago I recently went back and couldnât leave out a pint and a bite to eat in Geoffâs.Quite simply, if you donât visit Geoffâs when you are in Waterford, you havenât visited Waterford.Yes, I know, Waterford is synonymous with Waterford Crystal but, IMHO at least, Geoffâs should receive equal billing - itâs a must do.

Delightful bar with delicious food. Spoiler alert: they do not skimp on the portions here! For about 22 euros, my friend and I got the fried fish fillet & chips along with a cup of corn chowder & open face smoked salmon sandwich.

Gastro pub in waterford city centre.
Our first restaurant while visiting Ireland. The Gingerman is hidden somewhat down an alley, but its worth searching out. Great food dishes with large portions, and a great selection of beers. On our visit they did seem to close fairly early (6pm) for a Saturday, am unsure if other days are open longer.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat on vacation. To be honest our initial thought was....we'll go in and if it looks alright we'll eat and if not...maybe a quick beer and carry on. The first surprise was the immediate delicious smell when we opened the door. It smelled like walking in to moms kitchen on a Sunday. This made decision to stay very simple and it was obvious we were ordering the Chefs Roast Beef. It did not disappoint, it was delicious and soooooo much food! In addition to the food, the young man behind the bar was so friendly we spent a few hours just sitting and enjoying a few drinks and chatting with him when he was not busy serving the rest of the bar all by himself. Highly recommend this place for both food and drinks.
