This a neighborhood pub that makes you feel at home. The staff are amazingly friendly, prompt and attentive. We ate wings there every night the week were there. We order other items and they were all great. Great selection of draft beers. If you're looking for a comfortable place where you will be treated like friends and family, be sure to visit Turf's while you're in Waterbury

We liked our server. The food was edible but not worth the price paid. It seems like it's primarily a bar and it probably would be more successful by having a basic bar-type menu (burgers etc.). We had turned off the nearby highway and were looking for something better than a MacDonald's. It was indeed better than MacDonalds, but we were not sure it was worth it.

New resturant, replaced a buffet resturant at this addressRated on "YELP"
Although I have been to this location before with good results this will be my last visit. The service was good but everything else was less than satisfactory. I had boneless wings. They were dry and overcooked, actually tasted reheated from previous night. The sauce was very uneven, some parts of wings were covered, rest was bare. Beer was marginally cold and tasted stale. I mentioned this to the waitress and she assured me this was the way wings should be and beer was fresh. I beg to differ, wings should be moist and juicy not hard and dry. Beer should be cold. I left and went to get a hambuger nearby.

First, the atmosphere and âvibeâ was fun. Service was lacking. It took 15 minutes until we met our server, and from then on we spent most of our time looking for her - long waits for every phase. It wasnât THAT busy. Food, however came out in a timely manner, brought by an expediter. An hour and a half spent here for burgers and no offer for drink refills. Where was MJ???? The burgers and fries were very good. We also had a flight of drafts, and every glass had different levels of beer (short) and the slots in the flight board were full of beer. We would have asked for extra napkins, but we needed a server to get them. By the way, the menu(s) are ridiculous - WAY TOO MUCH. Like I said, a mixed bag.

This place has consistently good food and very good prices. Service is super friendly and efficient, but the place really needs a makeover. Dark, drab and almost uninviting....but very clean!!! So don't let the decor turn you off. Greek style pizza, thick crust, crusty on the bottom, somewhat over-cheesed. But when you order a topping, you get plenty. Salads are delicious and very large, with lots of extras on them, not just lettuce. And the burgers are huge and come with some of the best onion rings around. In-town people....you know where it is. Out-of-towners, stop in...i'ts right off I-84 and will fuel you up for your long wait in traffic at the Waterbury interchange. Check it out.
