If you want down-home freshly cooked-to-order burgers, patty melts, and such, you can't beat this place. Looks like a sports bar, but these accoutrements neither contribute nor detract. Expect very large portions and excellent prices. Good selection of beer on tap.

This is probably the third time we have been to this location. I felt compelled to write something this time because Javier our waiter was fantastic. he was fun, accommodating, attentive and overall a great asset to this restaurant. He has a great work ethic. The food is always good no matter what you order. Plenty of burgers to choose including chicken burgers. The photo is their Big Wave (a standard burger). Really juicy (we order it medium). The fries are really good too. We had the chilli cheese fries. They are put together and baked. Very yummy but very large. Definitely spilt them between 4-6 people. We have been coming to Islands for years and the cool thing is they still make things from past menus. We always order the Charley tacos (pictured). They are tuna tacos. Simple but very delicious. They had them probably 15 years or so ago. They aren't on the menu but everyone knows about them and it isn't a problem to order. There are other past menu items too but you have to know what they are.If you are near an Islands drop by and if you are at this location ask to sit in Javier's section.

First I loved that this brewery is not your typical brew pub food.I chose the smoked duck with caramelized onion served on flatbread. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The chocolate peanutbutter stout was amazing. Also have to say the guitarist was extremely talented and added to the dining experience.

Partake in our vision. We are Partake. We love quality tasty food, good wines and ice cold microbrews. We wanted to create a restaurant that we could feel good about; a place that we'd want to eat ourselves, a place that we'd want to hang out in. We wante
LOVE the atmosphere here, especially in the smaller, quaint side (to the left, as you enter). Quirky, eclectic, comfortable. Lots of talent and imagination working with re-purposed materials. The menu is small, but exciting - - offering standard AND unusual offerings. The owner is great, accessible and fun to talk with. Told us the history of the place (has been at least 2 other restaurants). There is an old fireplace at the entry, that is VERY interesting. He thought of taking it out, but that would have cost him TONS of money, so he and his wife created a VERY interesting front and completely brought new life and interest into that old fireplace. (His ingenuity goes far beyond food). As much as possible, he buys local meats, breads, veggies, etc., so everything is very fresh and delicious. With regard to the "small" menu, I really like it. Don't have to take 30 minutes to peruse through a 4-5 page menu, and allows them to concentrate on everything being "home made", rather than something frozen, pre-prepared, ending up like something you can get anywhere - - also saves on "waste". So you're NOT going to get yesterday's veggis in today's soup, or last nights' beef in today's stew. Think FRESH, FRESH, FRESH! I can hardly wait to go back because I want to try the pork belly tacos (there's pork belly in the Brussel Sprouts, sweetened with "Apple gastrique" - - look it up - - I'd never heard of it either - - and golden raisins, with a dusting o parmesan cheese, then simple "pan fried" not deep fried, nor coated with a tempura - like coating, as the pickles are). - - OH SO YUMMY!

Seems like an awesome concept, the whole farm to table deal, but owners got to have the back of their staff and clearly, the crazy eyed woman running around questioning everything going on, well, just makes u kinda nervous! Idk, cool place...hopefully u can get it together to have some trust!

Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday to meet a couple of friends for lunch. The atmosphere was cool with inside and outside seating, fire coming through a long bar counter, and garage door style walls that open up to more patio seating. Although I didn't order any beer on this trip, I've had their beer before and it's very good. For lunch, we ordered the fish taco with a cucumber side salad, the anduille sausage corn pops (mini corn dogs on a Popsicle stick) with miso mustard dipping sauce, and the short rib sandwich on cheesy chiabatta bread with fried leeks and a side of onion rings. Wow! Everything we ordered was terrific in flavor, texture contrast and combinations. The only negative for that day was you had to order from the bar (guess they were short on staff) so service wasn't great but they were trying. Food was terrific and we'll definitely return to try some other dishes that caught our attention on the menu!

I have driven by this place many times but never stopped. You won't want to make the same mistake. The food at Prohibition Brewing Company is excellent! They have indoor or outdoor seating, lots of space for large parties and lots of parking, too.The service was friendly and the burgers and sandwiches coming out of the kitchen were fantastic. The portions are generous and they also have great variety.Great place!
