Calabash is a Caribbean cocktail and tapas bar, run by a family from the island of Grenada. We are located in the heart of Bordeaux, a few minutes from the Place de la Victoire. We offer authentic island cuisine , inspired by old family recipes and other
Not in the center, but only 5-10 minute walk and so worth it.Lovely ambience, reggae soundtrack, Caribbean and Cajun food including many vegetarian options. Flavourful, interesting and inexpensive. Be careful with the hot sauce, it's HOT!Very friendly English speaking staff. All in all an excellent experience.Merci ! see you later

The wine bar looks like a big living room, it has a very cosy and comfortable atmosphere. It is ideal for an apero before dinner or for a relaxing evening. We regret not having tried the brunch. The service is wonderful, we chose two glasses of red wine and a small degustation plate with cheese and ham. We enjoyed it very much

This is a big pub, so good for groups after shopping or cinema at Rive d'arcins. They have a good selection of pub food which is relatively good value/quality. Menu has salads, burgers, flamenkuche, steaks, crepes and some English specialties.Dear AusParis, Thank you for your feedback! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed our Pub restaurant. The Team Au Bureau Villenave d'Ornon will be pleased to welcome you back in the future.

We visited this establishment based on reviews here on Tripadvisor and it exactly what we wanted that particular evening in Bordeaux. We were looking for a tapas bar that was casual, not too expensive, and tasty. The menu is not very extensive but all the dishes we tried were very good: calamari, croquettes, iberian sausage, and sliced chorizo. The were all washed down with a couple of crisp bottles of Estrella. The bar was quite busy & orders were a little slow but it was worth the wait. It may not compare to the best tapas restaurants but if you want something, tasty and casual, it's perfect.
