We are a four bedroom hotel, based in a gorgeous little village called Llanfachraeth, only 10 minutes from Holyhead Ferry Port. We serve hot and cold food, hot and cold drinks, we have bt sports, sky sports and free wifi. Family run business that is pet f
We have a caravan permanently sighted a few miles away so was really excited to know there was a pub near by serving food. Four of us visited about 4 wks ago basic pub grub but went down well. Young girl behind the bar is great, an every credit to your business. We called again a couple of weeks later and sadly the experience wasn't great. Still great staff but food was a real disappointment, goats cheese tartlet was terrible, lamb chops fatty, shepherd's pie not great. The table we sat at was greasy an needed a good clean. Really hope this feed back is helpful, would love to call again an support your business but the food needs to improve. Sorry :(Hi thanks for your review, what would have been really helpful if you told one of the staff about your concerns and not splash it all over the internet. The staff always ask if everything was ok, always. Plenty of opportunity to say something then. Can I ask, did you leave a review the first time you came? The Shepherds pie is home made and have sold out, not to reappear for a while, instead we will be making Cottage Pie (but never had a complaint). . Also our Goats Cheese Tartlet is also a great seller, your the first to say it was terrible, although I do keep asking for feed back from people, and have never once been told otherwise, hence why its still on the menu. Cant control the Lamb chops sorry, they come to us like that, all I can do is ask the supplier for a better cut. Did anyone clean the table whilst you were sitting there? I can't believe the staff neglected the table. I will make sure that they know to keep an eye on the tables allll the time. Fortunately we have a lot of support from the local visitors as we call them from the caravan parks, and the locals. I'm truly sorry about your experience on our basic pub grub, we work hard as a small family business, and do most things ourselves, including making the food from scratch. Your review is not helpful infact it has the opposite effect, it can damage everything we work for. But thanks anyway. Liz

We ate at The Seacroft twice, returning the day after the first because the hanging halloumi and vegetable kebab was so delicious! Quite simply the best vegetarian food we had during our week long stay on Anglesey. The waitresses were lovely too. Thank you.

Quiet family bar/bistro offering home-cooked meals at a reasonable price. Plenty of out door seating, 10 minute walk to the beach. Situated in the wilds, very relaxed & family run.
This place is a real gem. The food was amazing, the people are really lovely, and the setting and décor is really quirky. Both my husband and I enjoyed the Vegetable Curry, and the banana dessert is to die for.Note that this is not signposted on the main road so look out for the sign for the outdoor pursuits. This is the turn off you need to get to this lovely place. It was the best part of staying in Holyhead.

Our family of eight popped in here for lunch on Googleâs recommendation and we were not disappointed! The menu was great - fantastic options and something fir everyone. No childrenâs menu which is fine if your children eat and enjoy proper food. The pulled pork toastie and halloumi burger were lovely! Only draw back was we were greeted with âweâre closing in one hourâ which made things a bit rushed. Evening menu looked awesome too!

Family meal - we went here on Saturday night whilst visiting family on Anglesey myself and my partner, my dad and my uncle the food is always good but Saturday night it was fantastic the belly pork was lovely, the lamb was too and my fillet steak was cooked to perfection very tasty indeed my only criticism would be that they use frozen chips and proper home made chips would have been even better, staff were great very friendly nothing to much trouble we will definitely return for another meal 5*

Wow, just had an excellent Sunday lunch here.Beautifully tender lamb and beef and plenty of hot fresh vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was so good, a meal in itself! The chef was friendly and chatty and obviously proud of the food. The waiting staff were attentive and quick to clean tables as they were vacated. Will definitely eat here again.

The Black Seal is located next to the promenade overlooking Treardur Bay, a child friendly sandy beach. When we visited on a gorgeous, sunny afternoon in late September, we took advantage of the alfresco dining area overlooking the sea. Despite being very busy, service was efficient and friendly. The food was well presented and cooked to perfection. I especially recommend the local Anglesey mussels for those with a liking for them. The restaurant/bar also provides outstanding sea views during times of inclement weather. Disabled access is good, via a side door and there parking in the public car park adjacent to the restaurant.

The Valley aims to offer a very warm croeso / welcome and an authentic Anglesey experience. We are ideally located just off Junction 3 of the main A55 North Wales Highway, in the centre of the village, just 3.6 miles from Holyhead Ferry Terminal. In days
We have eaten at the Valley twice over the past few weeks as a family evening. Really enjoyed the choices and freshly made food. The staff work hard to make sure you all receive the food at the same time. Would definitely recommend you try this restaurant.

Great bar / restaurant great to have a catch up and the drinks flowed.Watched the rugby sadly for the locals wales got beat by Ireland. Then to my pleasure my team Liverpool beat burley 0:3 at burnley, great banter with the local Liverpool fans , lots of singing and dancing when the goals went in,Very popular bar with the locals and holiday visitors.A big shout out to the staff, it helps if the head barman is also a âwelsh redâ.Great location with stunning views. In Madrid we won it times.

We booked for 5.30pm because we had a young child with us (4years old). I offered to leave my debit card behind the bill but they declined. We were pointed to our table then NOTHING... no-one came to ask us anything!.... for ages!Eventually we had to find our own menus then ask to order drinks. The food took until 6.55pm to be brought to the table. We were all starving by then. We finally ordered deserts at 7.30pm after no-one asked for our order and we had to go to the bar to ask to order desserts. Without apology or explanation (again)the puddings hadnât arrived 25 mins later and our smallest person had run out of patience (wch is why we booked to eat SO early!) Absolutely disgusted we left.NEVER will we return!Appalling service.Food quite nice but NOT worth that wait!!Going to the White Eagle was once an outing to look forward to, that has never disappointed but tonight was a complete aberration of what they used to be and frankly an embarrassment as weâd taken a guest after telling them how great the White Eagle was but the whole evening was absurd!Hi Thank you for your review. I`m really sorry to hear you had a poor experience. when you visited yesterday . Your feed back is really important to us and i`ll make sure the team see your comments and we will action accordingly.
