A fun quirky bar offering a range of brunch items and all day platters with a fantastic selection of loose teas - cocktails
We were 3 people and decided to go for the largest platter - including meat, cheese and seafood. All was incredibly tasty and in generous amounts. So happy I finally got to try a Wensleydale cheese!! Friendly staff and lots to choose from to drink. We had a really good time.Itâs a pitty the road is literally right outside the door, as it is a bit noisy. But we would come again for the great food.

A charming 18th century inn offering delicious food and a warm welcome. Family-run and with a reputation for good, honest, traditional fare. Diners love old-favourites like steak pie, fresh battered cod or liver and bacon with onions. Dishes like lasagne
Visited in the week, the food was excellent I had the chicken and ham pie which was with chips which was in the specials board. The best pie I have ever tasted, the service was outstanding and was greated by a lovely barmaids which was Victoria and Jess. We had a smiley welcome and there knowledge of drinks was wonderful the rest of the service was great but didnât catch there names We Will definitely be returning soonThis is fabulous feedback, thank you. It is always great if you mention names so that we can recognise those individuals. The Chefs will be fighting as to which one made this weeks Chicken & Ham pie (hahaha) Thank you for taking the time, we all really appreciate it.Best wishesKelly, Steve and the rest of the Greyhound Team X

Excellent! The two staff were really helpful and very friendly so made for a lovely family lunch. They were very accommodating and as we were pre-ordering allowed items from the dinner menu instead of just the lunch menu.I had not realised there was a garden at the rear so will remember for another dayThank you so much for making a special day a real celebration.

An historic town Inn, centrally located, serving great food and a wide selection of drinks. Large restaurant with conservatory located at the rear and 9 bedrooms offering ensuite accomidation.
Really good food served here. Had the seabass with mussels and a lovely creamy sauce. Nice beer garden to sit in and enjoy the lovely Summer's Evening.

We stopped of for lunch in Monmouth on our way to south Wales. Although there were several cafes and restaurants offering fish and chips, pasta and pizza, we fancied something different. Places serving Thai or Indian cuisine appear only to be open in the evenings and we had nearly given up on our search when we came across the Kings Head. This place has a wide choice of meals - all available at lunch time and we really enjoyed our short stay. Will definitely call again if we are in the area.

We're open all day every day from 12 noon, serving a full range of real ales, ciders, continental lagers, spirits and wines. We serve the finest Lavazza fresh bean coffee too. Our restaurant is open Monday to Sunday serving lunch between 12pm and 2.30pm (
Super friendly owners and staff who quickly rectified an issue with our food. Nice cider selection. Would only add that the Kievs need more garlic but are otherwise good quality. Gourmet Society acceptance is also appreciated on a Saturday. Would return but perhaps would have the steak if available, unlike on our visit.

The White Hart is a traditional pub serving good food and is set in the heart of the Usk Valley. We serve local and national cask beers. Known locally for its huge Tudor fireplace.
Well another birthday lunch, which happened to fall on a Sunday. The choices were typical Sunday fare, several starters, soup, pate, pawn cocktail to name a few. Mains were the normal meats and veggie option. Desserts were varied bread and butter pudding to ice cream. Overall a very peasant meal with good service.

Have been going to the Hall Inn for years it is our favourite place to eat , the steaks are always tender and the rest of the menu is just as good . Stuart and his wife have been keeping the Hall for almost twenty years and you won't find a nicer couple, their staff are also first class. We will always look foreword to going to the Hall the Sunday lunch is also a winner.Thank you Des, it is always a pleasure to see you, your family and your friends and thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we will look forward to seeing you again shortly.

Not your run of the mill place. Very atmospheric calm environment to enjoy a first class lunch in... Loved it. Hopefully will be returning soon. Thankyou x
