Wow, what a great find on our second night in Munich. The food was great, beer was cold and the staff very friendly. We will definitely eat here again.

It feels soooo good to be in the middle of a hot city but sitting on a beach with your feet in the sand and enjoy some chilled beers. That alone is a great deal! Food is good and drinks are great. Service was always very good (3 visits) but prices are a bit higher than usual. On top, there is a possibility to play beach volleyball outside as well as inside. Location is a bit off the main street, but there is no way you will miss it. Visited Schiller brau after reading the TA reviews and it was close to our hotel - we were underwhelmed unfortunately. It was extremely busy and took a long time to get drinks and food ordered - this was ok as we were out for the evening . The beers were nice but my husbands braised beef cheek was very tough and probably needed much longer in the oven - the vegetables were rather bland too. My schnitzel was ok but the cucumber potato salad was very bitter . We were possibly unlucky with what we ordered but we were disappointed with our meals . Servus feeby,We are very sorry that you were unlucky with your food.We give our best every day, unfortunately it happened to us once that we make mistakes.I hope you understand.I still wish them all the best.

The place is ok. No table reservation and most of the waiters are friendly... (some are just don't care about the clients). Food selection is HORRIBLE! There are not many options and those that are do not go with beer (rosbeef sandwich with sauerkraut... flammkuchen....)Therefore... go there if you want to drink beer... probably at the counter... and that is it.
