Low quality chicken that was inedible! Overcooked, limp and tasteless vegetables that may have contributed to a dodgy tummy the next day. We would advise you to go elsewhere.Staff were pleasant and said they would pass our comments onto the chef.

Went here with family i wasn't peckish so i only went for starter. It was an ok starter but overpriced for the quantity. Other members of the family went the whole hog. Omg mixed grill at ridiculous price was tiny and small amount of each meats. Avoid and go to kfc much better quality. We are sorry if you thought our 30oz mixed grill was small if you would like to contact me at the Standing Stones to discuss your review futher then please do so

Came to Holyhead for the weekend and was fortunate enough to come across The Stanley Arms whilst looking for somewhere to eat, the mixed grill was the best I've had, all locally sourced meat and cooked to perfection, two meals for £20 might sound too good to be true but this food was excellent, nice ambiance and the staff really helpful and friendly.

Our family of eight popped in here for lunch on Googleâs recommendation and we were not disappointed! The menu was great - fantastic options and something fir everyone. No childrenâs menu which is fine if your children eat and enjoy proper food. The pulled pork toastie and halloumi burger were lovely! Only draw back was we were greeted with âweâre closing in one hourâ which made things a bit rushed. Evening menu looked awesome too!

Our quirky little Inn at The Bay pub is the popular choice for our locals and offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy pub classics such as beer battered fish & chips and home-baked lasagna before heading out to explore. You can even enjoy eating a
Dropped in after a swimming lesson to great disappointment. We ordered a âfresh British beefâ burger and the smoked haddock fillet. The burger was the frozen kind, possibly British and maybe mostly beef. Can get a better burger from a van and came without the sweet potato fries initially although this was remedied. The smoked haddock was appalling, the fillet was tiny, still cold from he freezer and served on further layers of disappointment. Would struggle to justify £1.20 let alone the ~£12 they charge. Fortunately the manager was on the ball and after a complaint took money off the bill; the only reason the is 2/5 and not worse. We were informed that the food is dictated by the pub co that runs the place so my recommendation to them is sort your s&*t out. There are many better establishments in Treaddur bay, donât spend your money here. Good afternoon JohnGwinett,Thank you alerting us to the issues raised. As discussed on the day, our food is cooked to order every day and can only apologise it wasn't to your satisfaction. We hope you return one day to see that all these issue have now been rectified.James

Quiet family bar/bistro offering home-cooked meals at a reasonable price. Plenty of out door seating, 10 minute walk to the beach. Situated in the wilds, very relaxed & family run.
This place is a real gem. The food was amazing, the people are really lovely, and the setting and décor is really quirky. Both my husband and I enjoyed the Vegetable Curry, and the banana dessert is to die for.Note that this is not signposted on the main road so look out for the sign for the outdoor pursuits. This is the turn off you need to get to this lovely place. It was the best part of staying in Holyhead.

We ate at The Seacroft twice, returning the day after the first because the hanging halloumi and vegetable kebab was so delicious! Quite simply the best vegetarian food we had during our week long stay on Anglesey. The waitresses were lovely too. Thank you.

We booked for 5.30pm because we had a young child with us (4years old). I offered to leave my debit card behind the bill but they declined. We were pointed to our table then NOTHING... no-one came to ask us anything!.... for ages!Eventually we had to find our own menus then ask to order drinks. The food took until 6.55pm to be brought to the table. We were all starving by then. We finally ordered deserts at 7.30pm after no-one asked for our order and we had to go to the bar to ask to order desserts. Without apology or explanation (again)the puddings hadnât arrived 25 mins later and our smallest person had run out of patience (wch is why we booked to eat SO early!) Absolutely disgusted we left.NEVER will we return!Appalling service.Food quite nice but NOT worth that wait!!Going to the White Eagle was once an outing to look forward to, that has never disappointed but tonight was a complete aberration of what they used to be and frankly an embarrassment as weâd taken a guest after telling them how great the White Eagle was but the whole evening was absurd!Hi Thank you for your review. I`m really sorry to hear you had a poor experience. when you visited yesterday . Your feed back is really important to us and i`ll make sure the team see your comments and we will action accordingly.

The Black Seal is located next to the promenade overlooking Treardur Bay, a child friendly sandy beach. When we visited on a gorgeous, sunny afternoon in late September, we took advantage of the alfresco dining area overlooking the sea. Despite being very busy, service was efficient and friendly. The food was well presented and cooked to perfection. I especially recommend the local Anglesey mussels for those with a liking for them. The restaurant/bar also provides outstanding sea views during times of inclement weather. Disabled access is good, via a side door and there parking in the public car park adjacent to the restaurant.

Great bar / restaurant great to have a catch up and the drinks flowed.Watched the rugby sadly for the locals wales got beat by Ireland. Then to my pleasure my team Liverpool beat burley 0:3 at burnley, great banter with the local Liverpool fans , lots of singing and dancing when the goals went in,Very popular bar with the locals and holiday visitors.A big shout out to the staff, it helps if the head barman is also a âwelsh redâ.Great location with stunning views. In Madrid we won it times.
