So Iâve been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally got there. Best part of meal was my server Susie, she was attentive and helpful and made me feel really comfortable. I wish the food was as good as the service,Mac n cheese bland lobster tail tough, Iâll probably give it another tryThank you for taking the time to write this review! I'm sorry about your Mac & Cheese, I'm sure we can get it right the next time you visit. Susie is always very helpful, I will pass along your kind words. We are looking forward to see you again!

The Village is a classic new England pub restaurant which offers local craft beers and locally grown farm to table produce when available seasonally. The dining room side is quieter with wooden booths whereas the pub side is bit more lively as casual. The
Positioned right off the charming, historic, Litchfield green; the location could not be better... although parking can be a challenge. Also, the tourist crowd can feel a little pretentious to some. The bar service is professional and prompt. The Oyster tacos were a clever idea and are well seasoned but overly oily and lacking crunch. The buffalo chicken wrap was flavorful and balanced (not too spicy) but dripping wet. All the portions were very generous. The cocktails are also generously poured and well crafted. At lunch, go for an elevated selection of american bar food served in a warm atmosphere at a reasonable price and expect to have left-overs.

We enjoyed Fairview Farms this Fall as the trees began to change. Some of the holes can be challenging because of narrow fairways and surrounding woods. The course is not long but various obstacles and risk reward holes can punish the new comer. The driving range is off matts and into a deep valley so it is difficult to judge distances. The restaurant offers many selections and the food quality is good. We will play this course again in 2016 now that we have a better understanding of its quirks.

A comfortable and cozy setting with New American cuisine.
A friend in the area knows how we feel about boozy brunches, so they set one up here for us! How nice of them! Lol.Atmosphere/Appearance: WAY OFF the beaten path through some pretty twisty-turny roads you find this gem. Set back off the main road it sits up on a little hill next to its own ice cream shop! Brilliant actually, but we may get to that later. The property is SO BEAUTIFUL. Medium-sized lake out front with cute duckies, fish and other wildlife. There are nice big wooden lounge chairs for you to chill in as well. Around the side is a patio-like seating area where you can actually be served from. It was super scenic and very chill. Further back there is a wide-open space for outdoor games like Jenga, Corn Hole and whatever else they have out there. I didn't take a real look. Inside is pretty cute. Wood floors, wood ceilings and a few decorations scattered around with TVs that weren't on at the time. They didn't need to be. The dining room is wide-open with the breakfast buffet set off to the left. Further back is the bar area.Service: Jacki took excellent care of us. She kept the mimosas coming and continuously honored my request of light orange juice. Lol. Danielle was her backup and was just as legit. The waitresses were funny, smiled and made sure that we had everything we needed. Hats off to them!Food: I couldn't tell you everything that I ate, nor did I take pictures of the actual food, but the buffet is quite extensive. Crisp salads, pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, quiche, salmon Benedict, you name it. I do know that I found lamb chops... and the rest is a blur. Lmao! I couldn't tell you how many I had, because I kept going back for more. They were so delicious. So bottomless mimosas with bottomless lamb chops... what more could I want? A bed... to sleep in after brunch was over, but that's neither here nor there.Value: The buffet goes for $18.95 and if you wish to add the bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys it's an additional $10.00. So less than $30.00 for a NICE brunch selection with good drinks. I think it's an excellent value. I'll certainly be back when I feel like making the drive again.Check this place out! Come with a group to make it more fun then chill outside for a little bit with your ice cream from the Frozen Gnome next door!
I returned to Mulligan's in Torrington because I decided to give their Bar-Rated Trivia another shot. I liked it the first time, but was more impressed with this visit. The music played stood out more and the crowd was upbeat and interactive without being overbearing. I will say, it got a bit loud at times, though I did arrive later than expected. I enjoyed the "two Daves" and my Riesling ($9). I took a few photos, so you'd get the idea.
Slidersâ menu includes an array of starters, burgers, sandwiches, salads and of course their famous chicken wings and local craft beer. Itâs a high-energy spot during big games; they were voted one of the Top 5 Sports Bars in the USA by ESPN The Magazine
There is so much excitement about Sliders that opened last week in The Warner Theatre Building on Main Street in Downtown Torrington. Excellent sports bar with great food, outstanding customer service and overall - perfect location for fun and relaxation. Be sure to stop in for lunch and/or dinner. You will be very pleased with this decision. Lots of fun people to see too!

Last few visits, all after 10:00 pm were extremely disappointing. The food comes out luke warm, like they are rushing out. The crock of onion soup looked nothing like the picture on the menu. Cheese on top was white not even slightly browned. Then after peeling it off of the top revealing the soup it was just slightly warm. Very disappointed in Torrington Applebee's

With the opening of O'Connors Public House in Torrington, CT, Bobby O'Connor is hoping to transfer the same warmth and mystique that encompasses all of the visitors to his family's establishment in Ireland. Upon entering the newest addition to the Torring
We dined here with our son last week and the food and service were fantastic, as with all our visits. We've been here a handful of times since this place opened and have always been pleased with the service, atmosphere and most importantly, the quality of the food. In an area dominated by pizza, Italian restaurants and chain mediocrity, O'Connor's stands out as a real pub, offering basics like wings and burgers and delicious and unique dishes like eggplant fries. Friendly service and an inclusive vibe suitable for families, friend groups, date nights and solo visits make this place a winner.

So my husband and I come here fairly frequently. It's close to our home and they have healthy options. I have never been disappointed with any meal I've ever gotten until tonight. We both ordered the special Blackened Fish Taco, with jasmine rice. For me it was inedible. It was way too spicy hot and extremely salty. I couldn't eat the rice either, both dishes tasted like they pour the salt on. My husband wound up eating mine because he loves spice, and I guess the salt didn't bother him. It won't keep us from coming back, but I was very disappointed, wound up making myself a turkey sandwich for dinner. Bummer. My very good rating represents every other time we've eaten there.

Came on a recommendation, not disappointed. Nice neighborhood bar and grill, surprised how nice it was inside. Food was excellent, had the chicken curry and buffalo chicken salad special. Service was good, margaritas was good enough for a second. Check it out!!
