Stayed here few times last year and would have easily been a 5* review, excellent staff, food etc...However, this year it's gone downhill considerably. Staff not as friendly, a little bit up themselves. Bar staff not very good. Food very good, chicken wings recommended! Problem one night in the bar. Had the tv on and an Irish couple wanted to watch the u20's rugby match, so they asked the staff and was changed. The Irish u20's match finished and England were on in the Euro football, so asked if it could be changed but despite originally being happy to do so, because the Irish couple wanted to watch the next game, I think was Argentina and Japan? My request was refused. Yet, no consideration was given to me watching the previous channel. Myself and 5 other Englishmen (not with me) walked out at that stage, rather silly decision.Personally I would have had 3 pints watching the football and the other 5 were over on a boozy trip so would have had a fair few. Not a very good business decision by the staff to turn away 6 alcohol drinking guests for 2 guests on an orange and a water. My next night in the area was spent at the Radisson in Limerick, much more enjoyable night.

This is a great venue for a meeting as it is on the Dublin to Cork road . The meeting rooms are comfortable and spacious . I have stayed over night at Kilcoran Lodge and enjoyed excellent food and great hospitality

It's a great bar for food and a few pints after a round of golf. It's a good place for family events with friendly staff!

This family run pub in the heart of Main Street, Tipperary, is beautifully maintained, warm and welcoming. The simple lunch menu suited us well. Soup, paninis and sandwiches are the core of the lunch selection and all are filling and wholesome. Add to that excellent service for both food and behind the bar and it was a great experience on a cold and wet Tipperary day.

My husband and I stayed in Nenagh over Easter weekend and when we weren't with family and friends catching up our evening meals were again taken at the Hibernian. The food is much as we remembered it - of excellent quality; challenging quantities; but sourced locally. The same welcome awaited with an added extra - they remembered us from our last visit - and we found the locals much as we'd left them: friendly and welcoming with a bit of banter on top. It's just the sort of place that we sadly don't have where we live in the UK and gives the Irish their name in hospitality. Roll on our next visit, which we hope will be in the autumn.
We had lunch here, soup and sandwich. The sandwich was very good and the soup hot. This family run bar is spotlessly clean and well run. There is a good selection of snack food to choose from like baps, sandwiches etc and are reasonable priceThere are 2 free car parks close by.
Nellies is a typical Irish pub. It has a real laid back charm. Comfortable seating and a roaring fire make it a pleasure to visit. The decor is charming with old photographs on display. Its a great location for a relaxing pint and some good conversation.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the host of the B&B where we stayed close by. It certainly lived up to the recommendation. Great menu and our food was excellent. Staff were friendly and professional. It was lovely to sit outside on a nice Summer evening. I look forward to visiting it again.
