We had spent the day on the nearby beach and decided to call in for drinks before our two hour drive home(non alcoholic, honest!)Fantastically friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere in this bar.We are already talking about spending a few days in the area, and a trip back to Popas for dinner is high on the agenda.

Paid a visit early July n a night they had a steak deal where you can get a free bottle of wine, so why not we thought. When we requested steak to be cooked medium the bar lady looked at me a little bemused and said the chef cooks it and that's it. Anyway the steak was over cooked which made it dry, the rest of the meal was very good. Then it came to the wine, the choice was red or white so I asked what type of red wine it was only to be shown a bottle from under the counter that had no description. The red wine provided was just not drinkable so we left 3/4 bottle behind.Solution: why not offer an alternative even if an extra contribution needs to be madeso say for an extra £5.00 you can have a bottle of wine that is pleasant to drink. The place is very friendly and had a pleasant atmosphere.

The Stables Bar & Restaurnt is a fabulous bistro style restaurant with a fully licensed bar located on Grange Farm Park Holiday Park and Fishing Lakes in Maltby-Le-Marsh just a short drive from Mablethorpe. Within the first 6 months of opening The Stables
The Stables really is a haven for great food and surroundings in the Mablethorpe area. Itâs made us feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of an English sea side resort on a hot August Bank Holiday.Pre and post dinner drinks in the garden area and taking a walk around the ponds only added to the wonderful experience. The whole party enjoyed their meals and there was a good selection from pizza for the kids (and adults if they wanted) to the steaks or sea bass we all devoured with a smile. Will certainly be back and would certainly recommend.Well done The Stables.

We have visited the bar/restaurant several times and I have to say we've experienced a different place on each visit. The food has varied from excellent to okay. The menu is varied, with something for everyone. The setting is pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!
The Sunday lunch is renowned, but if you're there at noon, the first cut is superb. Everything a club should be,spick and span, warm, comfy, well laid out, good beer,a place that makes Sutton a destination. .The staff are friendly, welcoming, efficient, prices ( membership, drinks, food) all very reasonable .If you need real Hospitality in Sutton, this is your place.Proof that the club model still works- go and enjoy, non members made welcome. Only just over the sea wall, there is a good walk or ride to Mablethorpe or Huttoft . Go, and enjoy!

The Louth is a friendly pub in Mablethorpe town centre, just a short walk from the beach. A great place to eat, drink and be entertained whether you are a local or a holiday maker. Serving breakfasts, bar snacks, bar meals and kids meals with a carvery on
Went here for breakfast with friends. The breakfast consists of bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, potato rosti, sausage and toast or fried bread, tea or coffee all for £3.39 - bargain. It is very nicely presented. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is well worth a visit.

Seaholme Bar and Grill is a restaurant and bar on the coast road in Mablethorpe. We have a great selection of meals to choose on the menu and cook all the food fresh on the day. We have 27 seats in the bar area, plus 2 flat screen T.V's featuring Sky Spor
After coming to Mablethorpe and having terrible weather the whole time we found this restaurant and what a lovely place it is. We were greeted like old friends even though we had never been before. We had a three course meal which was cooked fresh and was homemade and was lovely. The service was very friendly and we couldnât find any fault with any of it. Massive well done to the staff, made our day after such dismal weather.

More than a restaurant - the Dunes in season is an entertainment centre with a great sea view - bar, food and entertainment all under one roof with a sea view second to none - your 'local on the seafront'
We have eaten here before but we were very disappointed with our food. The chicken burger was poor quality. The bun stale.no attention to detail. Same can be said about the cheese burger. Wont be eating there again.I'm sorry to hear that was your experience - Can I ask did you raise your concerns at the time as it would have been mush appreciated if you had - unfortunately we can't rectify something after the event - if you do return please let me know as your experience is not something we would accept.

The decor was fun, my parents loved it - food was good & simple with a few little twists as to not scare away a more traditional palate. Very attentive & welcoming staff/service. The price was reasonably too, with decent portions. I'm looking forward to coming back here again, when I'm next up north. I only put 4 out of 5 for the food as the menu was pretty standard. But everything my family had tasted great.
