A casual little restaurant with a breezy atmosphere. We loved the place and the food. The staff was super helpful and very knowledgable. We went in the off season so the crowds weren't there. It's an easy place to find and you won't be disappointed in the homecooking.

Well, a loud mouthed, screaming woman really ruined our dining experience. We know this place is loud and we are big football fans, so we did not expect a quiet dinner. But, one woman, that the management did not care enough for the entire rest of the restaurant, to ask her to quiet down. A few nearby tables, got up and moved outside. We tried to talk while she was screeching and yelling and even the waitresses noticed but it not appear that any management working. Our food was promptly served and we quickly ate so we could leave. Fish and chips were a bit greasy, but good flavor. The steak fries were wonderful. Open faced Prime rib sandwich was just okay, not bad, not great. For all the competition, we were disappointed that it just wasn't as good as it used to be. That one person, ruined the evening for many. We would have stayed for another drink, but didn't.

Excellent location near the Riverwalk.Excellent menu variety for the meat & fish eaters, but great variety for the vegetarian. Excellent service both times we have been - today Michael owned it.Excellent food taste and presentation out of the kitchen.Just wish we lived in Stuart to be here more often.

This is what you want from a Florida hang-out eatery. The food was great, even though I has to take it "to go." (One of us was in the hospital for this trip. That part was a bummer. But, GREATFULLY!!!, it was not anything too serious & better safe than sorry.) Anyway..., back to Shrimpers; it was great! The locals were so very friendly. The bartender & chef provided some complimentary api-teasers. (I had an oyster shooter! But only 1 because I had to drive.) My fish was delicious (grilled snapper) and the view over the water made me want to come back when we could both enjoy a great date-night.

The Largest Family Owned and Operated Waterfront Restaurant on the Treasure Coast.
We arrived with the expectation of great seafood and service after reading other reviews on tripadvisor.Tthe largest family owned restaurant in the Manatee pocket area however disappointed on multiple levels:- less than half occupied, alone placing our order was challenging - took a while to get the wait staff attention- after our order was placed, the $1 (Thursday special) oysters arrived within 10 minutes, but then.....nothing....after 1 hour we investigated about our (simple, standard Mahi-Mahi) order and were told: "will be out any minute".....another 30 minutes passed and we gave up and checked out. No proper apology was offered. So, sadly this place will not see us again and we feel they are understaffed and the wait staff is not properly trained, which has a big impact the experience there - even assuming the food is good.

It was midweek for an early dinner, we decided to sit at the bar. It was dreary and rainy outside but I can imagine the stunning views of the St Lucie River on a sunny afternoon. The decor is reminiscent of âOld Floridaâ and very classy. The sushi roll was fresh and delicious and the wings were excellent. They also offer a full bar with craft cocktails and a good beer selection. I highly recommend for great views and fresh seafood.

Whether itâs for business or pleasure, the casual elegant atmosphere of Sailorâs Return is the perfect place to enjoy an exciting new dining experience in a one-of-a-kind tropical harbour setting. The surroundings are only out-matched by the delicious cui
Dad and I visited literally hours ahead of them closing for hurricane Dorian. Staff was taking furniture inside but they were fully functional. The server was very prompt and good. Someone else had recommended the fish tacos to me and they were over-the-top good. Full of blackened mahi with just a few veggies at the bottom. I got the Cajun dressing on the side; nice slight bite to it. Dad got a California wrap with fries. The band was a favorite jazz group, Bobby and the Blisters.Great experience; I'll be back.

We won't eat at many chain restaurants, but Flanigan's is one we love. They have good food and specials during the week. The Stuart location has good staff, nice outside seating and a big inside bar area.

This is not a romantic restaurant but a local community seafood mecca with its only charm being warm and friendly and filled with brac brac. The crab cakes are almost the equal of Maryland, the remainder of the food is good and served promptly. The packed restaurant is testimony to its popularity.

Casual meets Upscale. Local seafood, meats and vegetables prepared fresh daily. Fun and upbeat atmosphere with great hospitality
On Sundays, all liquor (including wine) is discounted 50% which would be the reason we would return to The Gafford -- not for the food which was, at best, disappointing (overly sauced crab cake, mushy meatloaf, "tough" fried chicken, burrata swimming in balsamic and tomatoes, and unexceptional salmon salad), nor the very spotty service. But, hey, half-priced drinks is enough of a reason, don't you think?
