Silver Sage Magazine stopped in at West Dover Joe's Restaurant Market & Deli after calling ahead to see if they cooked with veggie or canola oil and were told "only canola." We couldn't resist. The owner and chef, Brett Sewing, sold me on the soy and nut free restaurant. He told me that after so many patrons come in asking about allergies, he decided to just make everything allergy free as much as possible. Brett originally owned the restaurant a decade before he reopened. But his son, Brett Jr (now in the medic special forces) and his daughter Kyle (in the reserves stationed in Kuwait) were little and he wanted to watch them grow up. Once they graduate high school, he bought the new location and reopened. Named after his father-in-law, West Dover Joe's is now history.Venue: Nice large parking lot. Easy, accessible (wheelchair) entrance and restaurant. One side was the market/deli side and the other housed restaurant/bar. We went on a Thursday evening so stayed on the restaurant side. Quaint decorations - simple yet attuned to the area for skiing and the outdoors. Good lighting and a variety of seating to choose from. There was live music which was nice as well.Service: We were lucky to be served by Tallu, a six year veteran with West Dover Joe's. She was friendly, gracious and took her time re-assuring me that everything, including the fryer was with canola oil.Food: I haven't had a fried dish in so long I couldn't remember. So Fish & Chips was it for me. And a HUGE piece of fish along with a generous portion of french fries both delicately fried in canola oil. I was in heaven. We also ordered the Chicken Milan - absolutely delicious and perfectly flavored with a touch of Italy. All the wine was $6/glass - quite a bargain if you're not a wine connoisseur. Tallu makes the desserts herself (at home) but uses veggie oil. Bummer. Something for West Dover Joe's to think about changing. We loved this little restaurant, super close to Mount Snow (less than 5 min), reasonable priced and delicious. No EpiPen tonight. We will absolutely be back! @silversagemag

You can have exceptional, top of the line fine dining quality food and still have a fun, relaxing evening too. At our house, no need to worry about talking too loud or using the wrong fork. Relax, eat, enjoy. Step through our 19th century doors and savor
We had an amazing meal last night. My wife and I both had the mussels for appetizer and the roasted duck. The other couple had the roasted free range chicken and a homemade pasta dish. We loved our waitress (her daughter was also working there) Great meal combined some quality live music in the background.

It is a new bar/restaurant located in the Mount Snow area.
Wasn't expecting much from a pub, but on a Thursday night it was the only place open past 9. Surprisingly good food - flavorful buffalo wings and a filling salad with perfectly cooked chicken. Wait staff was very friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Located on Route 100. Five minutes from Mt. Snow. Improved parking lot accommodates many more vehicles. Drop off in front and proceed to side lot.Met friends for dinner and started with cocktails. Prompt and friendly service from Christine! Interesting drink specials - try the blood orange cosmo - and priced right. Ribs, meat loaf, salmon and NY Strip steak were all tasty accompanied by garlic mashed, corn bread, coleslaw and pickles. Began with meatballs, fried pickles, French Onion Soup as starters. Lastly carrot cake and cream brûlée. Dinner for four with 5 apps, 4 entrees, two desserts and two rounds of drinks amounted to $340.00 including tax and gratuity. Fun place for friends and family. Variety of seating options and we ate @ table just outside of bar. Lively atmosphere with two bars , game room and fun for all! Interesting decor. Reservations are a must on busy nights but with luck you can oftentimes squeeze in at bar. They handle busy nights well!Ownership on site and they provide attentive care. Excellent recommendation.

If you're looking for a fun, casual, chill vibe with great drinks, 3 giant flat screen TVs, local beer on tap and fantastic food then 802 is your spot.
We have been here a few times and LOVE it here. The staff is always, and was, very nice and friendly. Food is always wonderful. We went one night in early June. They had recently opened after being closed for the spring. The menu was VERY limited but we both wanted a burger so that was fine with us. We both ate an appetizer of chicken and both ate burgers. That night we both got violently sick. I contacted them through their facebook page and nicely just wanted to let them know that possibly the chicken, meat or egg might of been bad just to check so no one else got sick. The sad part is they never even responded. I was not looking for anything but some sort of acknowledgement would of been appreciated. I am bummed because being local there is not a lot of close by places to eat and now unfortunately this will not be one of them.

Recently attended the two night Bluegrass festival at Grizzly's. Fri night was tame and the staff was more engaging. Sat was packed and the staff was overwhelmed. Great selection of draft beers (local as well as not). Very enjoyable couple of nights.Tip - sitting at the bar N1 was fantastic. N2, not so much as the crush on the bar looked to make it unpleasent.

Great dinner! The place was modern rustic and was gorgeous. The hostess and waitress were nice and attentive to us. We were there with 4 children and felt very comfortable enjoying our meal. We ordered fish and chips, Lobster Carbonara, the Hamburger and Pork Schnitzel. With the exception of the slaw with tasted like lawnmower scraps everything else was top notch! The prices were moderate and the menu can easily accomodate 3-4 visits without getting bored. Great portions too!

Went to Mulligans for casual dinner. My husband had fish and chips platter that was a large portion and cooked perfectly. Light batter, served with plentiful fries. I had a roasted turkey sandwich on multigrain chibatta with lettuce, tomato and avocado. Delicious and very filling, brought home the other half. Also, served with fries. We did have to wait 20 minutes or so to be seated, very crowded, but service was very attentive, refilling water, checking on our meal. Lively atmosphere, but great for a casual dinner after skiing all day!
